What’s gr8? Nestled in what I have unofficially labelled “The Brunchmuda Triangle” on Edmonton Trail, Carino shouldn’t be discounted as second rate to the popular (read: long lines) of Over Easy Breakfast and Diner Deluxe. The flavours are Japanese inspired (shredded cabbage INSIDE the waffles) and almost every dish includes the king of breakfast ingredients, the humble egg. Order the fritters! They are more delicious than it sounds and are served with maple syrup!

What’s gr8? Very rustic, very fresh, very French inspired! This came as a surprise, but go for brunch and ORDER the coffee. Could not get enough!
