I’m honestly still processing the entire night. I can’t believe that I just saw this man irl only a couple meters away from me performing, laughing, being an absolute sweetheart, sooooooooo beautiful and so fucking talented.

Although I’ve been a Monbebe for a while now, I’ve never seen them live and it was definitely the best experience ever. I wish I could thank him personally for this unreal concert 💜💜💜

Happy 32nd birthday to our beloved Shownu 🐻🤎🎂

He showed us over the years what an amazing leader he is, a pillar for the entire group and for Monbebes, he gave us strength with his gentle side and comforting words and continues to make us laugh sometimes intentionally and often times unintentionally.

Shownu has proven over and over again that he’s more than just a gentle Teddy bear with abs lol. He’s an ace in what he’s doing. An incredible, powerful dancer, a fair and respected leader, a charming vocalist and an outstanding visual.

We all know how much MX loves and appreciates Nunu and how grateful they are to have him and so am I.

Let’s all wish him a happy birthday and let’s remind him that we’ll always love and support our Shownu, especially since he had a few rough weeks recently.

I hope we get many many many more years with him and Monsta X together.

Exactly, it’s ridiculous. The entitlement is crazy in this fandom and when you say something it’s always “we’re doing this out of love.” Insulting him out of love? Creating a hate train out of love? There was actually a lot happening in 2021. He got hate again for mentioning that he lived in isra*l and for being too nice(?) to a mbb from that country during a fancall event, a mistranslation from a kyunbebe on twt got him a lot of hate, people were calling him a z*onist, then he got hate for being “fatphobic” which he never was, again a mistranslation and out of context, because of all that hate other antis jumped in and said he’s arrogant, ignorant, tried to cancel him. He got a shit ton of hate messages and death threats on fc as well and some even demanded that he leaves the group. I’m not sure how much he actually saw bc a lot of those things were said on twt but it was so obvious that he kinda stopped engaging with intl. mbbs. He went from being one of the most active members, especially when it came to intl. mbbs to rarely engaging with us which is completely understandable after so much unprovoked hate and the worst thing is that most of this started with monbebes bc they felt the need to hold him accountable for things he didn’t even do.
