Day 16: Desolation Row
Half serpent / half vixen
Not to be Emo, but we all know that the killjoy universe takes places in 2019, and we all talk about how we wanna do somethin’ for that year that involves the Danger Days era. Perhaps, that means making next year all about fucking fighting? Not to be cheesy, but the entirety of Danger Days is living life in color, after years of being angry, it’s about letting go, it’s about survival. Like, okay, the whole premise and motto of the killjoys that lived in the zones, was to fuck shit up, despite things being shitty. If you REALLY wanna celebrate that whole concept next year, then just make the entirety of 2019 about fighting back. Wear bright colors, stay shiney, bite back when your demons try to take you alive, and always, always, always, keep running.

beep-beep, alenna.
disclaimer: i don’t know why am i writing it and who am i writing this for. but i hope I’ll be heard.
there something about studyblr community that makes me kind of sad. it is the fact that we only get to see perfect students. students, who don’t have any mistakes in their notes. students, who always have enough time to make their bj look cute and meet their friends. student, who don’t have mental breakdowns and who don’t suffer any of that stuff.
i am not perfect. i am not trying to be perfect. i am just trying to be a better person and a better student in order to reach my goal (which is to become a professional interpreter btw).
hello, my name is Alenna (which is actually a bit different but i like it this way), i am 18 years old and i am not perfect. i am a heavy smoker (i am not advising it, smoking is bad kids), i am not the most accurate student, i use foul language all the time, i have eating disorder, i can’t make myself learn something, i learn things just to pass test and forget all the things i’ve learn the next day. i can count my imperfections for forever.
but i am a good student. i have great marks. people ask me to help them understand something that teacher was trying to explain to them.
this studyblr is not going to be one of the thousands that you can see here. it will be something quite different. it won’t be updated daily. i won’t post things only related to studying, because i am to lazy to switch between blogs. you won’t see lots of pretty things here. you’ll see messed up notes and some of my thoughts and achievements.
i just want to let you know that it’s okay not to be perfect. you can try, but you don’t have to get very upset and worked up if it won’t work out.
i don’t know if i’m writing this because i’m angry or because i’m tired of wrong expectations about me. probably the first.
i am going to let you know one of my deepest secrets ever. almost every thing that i’ve done well was made because of my anger. why am i angry? because i have a right to feel every emotion out there. i feel angry today because my skin is breaking out so badly that i can barely put my make up on — it hurts so much. i feel angry today because i didn’t pass a test on a subject that government made me spent my time on. i am angry because i am tired as hell and my head aches so much. i am angry because i am a teenager and i can be angry.
it’s not just anger, of course. it’s sadness too, joy, fun and everything else that even exists.
my point is — you don’t have to be perfect to be a good student.
and i love all of you and i believe in all of you with all of your doubts and second thoughts. you are worth it.

things Natalie Portman did: THAT
here I am again! it’s 9:30, December 28 and I’m having a bit of a cacao and some tosts and I’m doing a little service for my groupmates.
We’re having our linguistics test, but I already have my mark, because I was pretty good during the semester. My groupmates and I decided that we should pick up some topics on it, write notes and pass it to everyone else.
I also feel like I should write something about russian education system, because everything is quite different here. What do you think? Will it be interesting for you?
And I started to watch Charmed (I watched it when I was a kid) and I like it a lot💕
and btw I'm really sorry abt how my desk look like, I never have time to organize it! I hope I'll find some time during my winter break bc I'm tired of mess😧
