Welcome! 🌷I'm Reg, and I started this blog to share my fanart. I love fantasy and indie stories, and I make original illustrations as well.

I'm an anti-genAI digital artist with a STEM background. I'd love to sustain myself with art someday. Do not repost, edit, trace, copy, or commercialise my art. Do not use my art for AI training or NFTs.

What program and tools do you use? I use Rebelle 8 Pro and Clip Studio Paint EX 1.0 for my illustrations. I use a Gaomon PD1610 mainly and a Xencelabs Pen Display 16 Lite when I'm traveling. My brushes are usually oil paint brushes (will release a brushpack). I regularly use Nightshade, Glaze, and Yuify to protect my works from AI and theft.

Can I use your art in edits, etc? Personal use with credits is allowed! Commercial use is not. Copying and tracing my art are not. If you are interested in personalised artwork and/or commercial artwork, consider commissioning me.

Where did you study art? I'm completely self-taught. I studied and pursued a STEM career, and I'm still active in that. I think my art improved as I practiced over the years and focused on fundamentals. Art books from artists are also helpful, since they provide inspiration, tips, and lessons.

What's with the username @iamregressing? It was meant to be a stats pun on my name but I realise how self-deprecating it must sound.

What's your opinion on AI? I am staunchly against Generative AI in the arts and AI-generated images being passed as art.
