Random things I noticed in Toon Turf’s pilot (spoilers)

The first time we see the zipper is when Billy hugs Riggy

but the zipper disappears after the explosion(when Billy catches on fire)

I think the zipper represents Riggy being able to open up to someone, in this case it’s Billy. But after Billy dies in the fire, Riggy doesn’t have anyone to open up to anymore so the zipper disappears. Wonder if the zipper’s gonna reappear in future episodes

also also Billy’s mom calling him firefly get it cuz the FIRE made him FLY to heaven

Fun fact! The reason a tree grew through Riggy’s house was because Lucky planted a bunch of trees while partaking in a tree-planting trend, which can be seen on the newspaper Robert reads before Riggy moves to Toonville (timestamp: 3:25)
