🖤 31 horror sketches. 31 days. 1 (still) very tired hand. 😅

This year’s 31 Days of Halloween was my way of learning and experimenting in Procreate on my iPad — while revisiting some of my favorite horror films of recent years (and a few you suggested along the way).

As always, it pushed me creatively and reminded me why I love this subject matter so much.

Oct 24 sketch in my "31 Days of Halloween" series is Chucky from the original Child's Play. The OG.

Still my fave horror character in a close race. Love the first 2 films in this series and have a soft spot for the 3rd.

I'm an old school Chucky fan. Don't be coming at me with the Bride or Seed crap lol!

Today's sketch (Oct 23) is from Candyman (2021).

🔥 take: I like this one much better than the original.

Never vibed with that one since I saw it in theaters back in the day (as much as I love Tony Todd). TT STILL is Candyman as far as I'm concerned but this remake was a better, spookier film to me.

Oct 21 sketch in my "31 Days of Halloween" series is Good Boy.

WOW. For a pet owner and animal lover, this has some genuinely harrowing scenes in it and Indy the dog is one HELLUVA actor.

The ending is a total gut punch and I have thought about it several times since seeing it.
