Maya was headed back towards waffle town after making a quick delivery to Renee and her family. She had just crossed over the bridge when she heard an unfamiliar voice call out. She quickly spun around, searching for the voice. When she saw him, she squinted her eyes, trying to recognize the blonde boy. When she realized she had never seen him before she began to walk towards him, until he yelled at her to stop.

She watched as the stranger waved at her and then jumped into the water. She widened her eyes in surprise, and covered her mouth with her right hand, trying to cover her laugh.

When he finally reached her she slowly walked towards him and held out a hand to help him out of the water.

"What on earth are you doing?" She asked, still smiling in amusement.

Shaking his wet locks like a dog, he grinned wildly at the girl before saying, "I was coming over to meet you of course!" Of course, diving into water towards the end of winter wasn't exactly the smartest thing to do in this situation, and the farmer finally realized this as he clutched his soaking clothes.

"Uh, it's pretty cold, huh?" Laughing about it, more so out of nervousness than anything, the farmer said hastily, "Uh, I'm k-kinda lost... Do you think you could help me find an inn, and some warm non-wet clothes?"

Nah! Horses are cute, I especially like Mimi’s! I think his name is Romeo or something, figures with a bird bain like Mimi🎵

I already did it a little earlier so I just want to spend my time with you a little more. *Sits beside him* I do miss you a lot Michael.

[Leaning his head against his shoulder, Michael hummed a bit, trying to stay happy] I really do like it, it's a great gift for my birthday. You know me so well... Maybe too well, heh?

[Scratches his cheek sheepishly] I see... [He retracts a letter that had been folded several times from his pocket] I got mine...

[Pauses for a long time before answering] ...I miss you too, dork...

[Blinks. Blinks again] ...Uh, Pete. I was talking about Claireee. [Motions to the direction of the barn where she stood peacefully]

[Shakes his head a bit embarrassed at how nice Pete always was] Geez, you're so naive, sheesh ❤

Emmy, huh? That is kinda cute...[Scratches at his head] I was thinking something like Quinn but I'm not too good with girl's names~

Michael let out a loud yawn and stopped skipping stones across the stream. Where was he? Well, he'd like to know the same thing actually.

Somewhere along his travels he had gotten lost and now he was buying time. Still, he couldn't complain too much; the scenery was nice, and a chill breeze ruffled his hair.

Seeing a person on the other side of the stream, he shot up, waving wildly at the stranger, "Hey! You! Wait, don't leave! I'll come over there - "

And with that, he dove into the water, struggling to swim to the other side.

*Nods shyly then giggles a little* Guess I was. I know Michael, I’m just getting ahead of myself. We’ve been together a few months ago so I do need to take that to consideration. Baby steps. Yeah, you have a point there bro.

*Hears the kid bleat* Ah right. So uhm… what should we name the little girl?

[Smirks] Are you suuuure? I dunno, I think Claire might be a bigger VIP then you 🎵

[Cue the awkward laughter] Yeah, I guess I should have been more clear or something...We have plenty of time, [Looks at Pete with a very serious expression] Trust me.

[Softens a bit, a light smile coming to his lips] Aha, I have no idea. Something cute, yeah? Got any ideas?

[The sudden noise startles the nurse, and she turns around with a slight frown, adjusting her glasses as she looks at the culprit who disturbed her work.] Ibuki. [Raises a brow, not really sure how this can be a guessing game when she can clearly see what he has between his arms.]

Is it herbs? [Blinks, again, still unsure of the situation.] May I ask why you’re giving them to me? Dr. Marian might be able to make better use of them… 

[Blinks, his smiling dimming] Michael. It's Michael. Call me Michael.

[Gives a warmer smile as he notes her confusion] Oh dear Angela, you've guessed incorrectly! .......These actually are for Marian but it looks like he isn't here now. But fear not, I did bring you a gift -- I bet you haven't the faintest idea what it is!

[Clearly struggling to hold them all without dropping them, he leans against the counter] Uh is there any where you want me to put these?

"Quite serious," she answered. "And the only issues I have are people like you."

"I don’t need anyone’s help." Her glare did not falter. "You only care because you find fault in me telling Pete a truth about how he works. He is a weak fool who needs a partner."

Are you sure about that because you like you have a few more than just that!

[He shrugged, shaking his head] Then why are you here if you don't need help, just came to moan to someone new for a change? [Growing tired of her stare he decided to match her gaze, glare for glare, the heat burning through his glasses] Look buddy, he already has a partner and I'm one of them. You can say what you like about me and about my farm but you can't do that to Pete. He's one of the kindest people I know and I won't have you slandering his good name.

[Can distantly sense that she's faking her tears but gives no sign that he realizes this. [ He rolls his eyes, relieved to be able to hear her foolish insults and compliments] Pfft, c'mon Mimi, you know I'm the fairest in the land!

Jamie fell silent when he made the comment about her poncho. She looked down at it. Every stitch was hand knitted by her mother years ago. It was a sign of her adulthood and so much more. She glared at the man as he finished his argument.

"The strong live and the weak die. That is all the truth I need."

[He lets out a juvenile and seething sarcastic laugh] Trust me, you have maaad issues. You can't be serious right now, like at all.

[Ignoring her glare, the man ran a hand through his blonde locks and shrugged] Look, you can go off spouting your mumbo jumbo about living and dying and that whole spiel or you can tell me what you need help with and be on your little merry way, so whatta ya' say?

Hm? [He gets the distinct impression he’s walked in on something he probably shouldn’t have. Why Michael is crawling on the ground, he hasn’t the foggiest idea - and why had his phone been sliding across the ground in the first place? It takes the question about the butterfly to make him stop staring down at the farmer and crouch slightly, showing him the insect in his hands.]

Indeed I was. See? It’s a lovely specimen, don’t you think? [The butterfly flaps its wings ever so slightly, perched on the heel of Mistel’s palm.] Beautiful colors.

[Stares back at the salesman with the same perplexed and interested, if not, somewhat embarrassed expression]

[Michael retracts a little, pulling his hat from off of his head to cover his mouth] Ugh, you're gonna laugh but --

[Runs his fingers along the side of his hat, barely audible] I can't stand butterflies.

Was taking a stroll along the edge of Michael's farm, dressed in her Sunday finery as she sang a sweet tune to herself, "J'en vois des qui s'donnent, donnent des bijoux dans le couc'est beau mais quand memece ne sont que des cailloux~" Pauses, noticing a blonde-haired man whom she presumes farms the land, waving to him in an enthusiastic manner-- "Bonjour!"

[From the corner of his eye he notices the young woman strolling along his farm. Trying not to disturb her with a smile on his face, he pats Claire, singing to her under his breath] Lonely girl wa itsu made mo todokanai yumemite ~ Sawagu atama no naka wo kakimawashite, kakimawashite 🎵

[Accidentally making eye contact with her, he waves back, a nervous laugh escaping him] It’s not everyday I see such well dressed visitors, surely you must be lost! If you’re looking for Mimi, her farm is right across from mine.

[He beamed back at the young woman admiring the fine dress she was wearing — what kind of fabric was that? It sure did look soft. Though he would never admit it to her, her clothing rivaled Minori’s clothes which were always exquisite]

[Repeats his words, clutching onto his hat] No, but are you positive you’re not lost?
