Ok, so mind you I haven’t edited a video to music in years, also the only thing I have been editing to music is sports (hockey and basketball) highlights. I miss having managers who cared about work-life balance. I miss having a boss who didn’t care if you worked from home as long as your work got done. I miss being able to take the summer “off” to take time and regroup to take a breath after the long season and decompress.

And Vegas wonders why the rest of the NHL fan base hates them. The “because we are jealous of their winning” isn’t one of them. It’s classless shit like this.

After this weekends games in Vegas, it’s going to be so hard to wait this long to see the boys in black and pink again

My first game was amazing, and I may have been wearing the Party Animals jersey but the Coconuts found a special place in my heart now too.

The players were all so amazing, and kind and excited that I was attending my first ever game.

So it’s crazy…6 months ago I was worried I wasn’t going to have a job. A massive restructure left me in limbo. I didn’t know if the career I worked so hard for was going to just be ripped away from me. A job that I had busted my ass for, for two year was just going to let me go.

And here we are, me making a ‘best of’ video getting ready to air during the first round of the playoffs.

I learned a lot about myself this season, I learned who my real true friends were at work and those who just said they were. I’m stronger and better then I think I am. I don’t give myself enough credit and I’m not as much of an imposter like I tend to feel.

I am so incredibly, proud of the guy. A 2 goal night on his first night back from a terrifying injury. As sad as I am to not have him in the burgundy and blue and be able to cheer him on, on a nightly bases I am so fucking happy for him and the success he has had thus far.

It's nice to see that smile back on his face. It was missing for most of last year.

It’s weird being a huge hockey fan to suddenly not care about the season. It’s usually “wake me up when September ends” with me…but now, I have zero enthusiasm

I worked and learned so much last season. I started shooting hockey, I starting shooting lacrosse and got some great footage. Footage that was used in multiple things. I learned how to be a better editor. I learned how to color correct video and make it look beautful and right now it all seems like it was a waste of my damn time.

I don’t know what to do, I’ve spent the last few hours crying or trying to not cry again. I’ve worked so hard for this job and come October I may not even have it

I should probably be working...but meh, instead I am watching Bananaball and I have decided that I want to work for the Party Animals. After watching their graphic titles, I feel that my great title creativeness would be very beneficial to them. I like to make puns, have fun and sometimes questionable titles to see how far I can push it before getting in trouble.

I am also a decided photographer/videographer and editor

So if anyone here knows how to make an interview possible, I am all ears.
