sorry for the lack of activity. i’m undergoing a bunch of medical tests to find out why i’ve been so sick & i haven’t had a lot of energy to make gifs or to write. i’m hoping to get answers soon, which i think will help. at the very least i won’t have to worry about what’s happening, you know? anyway, i haven’t forgotten about you or the fandom, i just don’t have it in me to do a whole lot on here right now. back soon, hopefully. until then, you can find me on my main blog.

ugh this. my husband is 30 and has NEVER had any alcohol. he has no desire to drink and everywhere we go people try to convince him to “JUST TRY IT!!” fucking leave him alone man

Just want to add: sometimes it’s not even just a preference (although that reason should be respected too). Sometimes the person has a family history of alcoholism and doesn’t want to become addicted, or they’re a recovering acloholic.

Please keep in mind alcohol is a drug, and one not everyone wants to use.

I can’t drink in public, because I have no clue how to react. When I’m at home, I know how to deal with myself (usually by going to bed.)

I went to a college party once, and someone almost forced me to down a Kamikaze. I got out of it by saying I’m driving in a bit.

also some people ( like me ) not only are terrible drunks, but are on medications that can mix extremely poorly with alcohol & i don't appreciate being told `it'll be fine‘ when you have no medical training
