Sorry for the inactivity gang. I wanted to draw so many things and was so geared up for it but got hit with mad art insecurity :(

Then got hit by the fact that I had a lot of work to catch up on too so I’ve been in both commission hell and a mega art funk.

I’m hoping I can pull myself out of it soon to finish up some things. I know the show has been cancelled and that isn’t helping the self motivation but I did want to finish up the Montwin, Catwin, Payneland and Palasaki I had in store. At least the first two though since they were partly drawn I just wasn’t vibing with how they looked.

Would be nice to finish the big project I was working on but 😩 ANYWAY. Hope y’all are doing good out there and thank you all for still liking and reblogging my things. Even if I might dislike how something came out (my poor Cricketcrow piece) I’m still thrilled yall like them!!!

Painland week day 3: love confession/first kiss For the First Time Twice by @likemmmcookies

An encounter with an enchanted puzzle box locks up most of Charles’ memories and leaves him thinking he and Edwin are in love. With a recipe from Tragic Mick for a potion to counteract the spell and strict instructions to go along with Charles' delusions, all Edwin has to do is keep up the ruse for three days. He can make it three days. Right?

3/3 Esther, Monty and Cat King swimwear designs.

Since they're all beings who's fashion matches the time period they're in, I had the freedom to put them in whatever I wanted.

Esther- for the group drawing I'm doing later she is not included, but her backstory is that she's at the beach too just incognito. I gave her a large hat and sunglasses to hide her face while she spies on them in the background. I chose black because that's the sexiest color tbh.

Monty- Twink.

Cat King/Thomas- Since his fashion is quite gnc I decided to put him in a white one piece swimsuit because he would, also imagine Edwin's face.

Disclaimer: Esther and Thomas will not be in the final group drawing because composition is hard.

2/3 Edwin and Charles swimwear designs.

Edwin- as he's from the Edwardian era I put him in a matching woollen shirt and shorts that was one of the typical swimwear outfits of the time, however with a slightly more modern drape. I put him in slip on loafers since I doubt he'd be comfortable with his toes out. Swimwear didn't have a lot of colors to offer back then, navy was quite standard.

Charles- Men's swimwear around the 80s looks basically the same as it does today, but a set of matching shirt and shorts was more popular than it is now. I was going to make the set orange but that clashed with his skin tone.

1/3 Crystal and Niko swimwear designs.

For a future group beach drawing- I first had to design everyone's outfits.

They're both from the late 2000s so I didn't have to pay too much mind to dating the styles.

Crystal - I knew immediately I wanted to put her in a wrap around tie bikini with beads and lots of layered jewelry. I knew she had to to be put in purple. Crystal also bought matching beach bags for her, Edwin and Monty. (I say retconning the fact I didn't want to draw multiple bags)

Niko- I wanted to put her in something with long sleeves and cutouts. I couldn't make my mind up on colors, I was torn between pink, pale green and yellow.
