oh gosh, nonnie, what fun facts don’t i have about my baby lani… thanks so much for asking !!

her favourite holiday is halloween! she absolutely loves the whole spooky atmosphere that permeates the air during spooky season, watching horror movies, and planning fun costumes to wear.

after the names of the pwhl teams are officially announced, luke sends her pictures of snowflakes and frosted windows for a solid week. she’s half-prepared to smack him by the end of it.

her older brother, kai, went to backpack through europe after he graduated college, and he’s currently in switzerland. lani calls him as often as he can talk, and he’s even been teaching luke a few phrases in swiss german that he can surprise nico with.

lani was the frost’s first official draftee, or at least she was the first player they have recruited right out of her college program.

lani has her own tiktok account which, though private, still has plenty of followers, what with all the nhl, pwhl, and college hockey players she knows. she doesn’t post extremely often, but when she does, it’s usually her pulling trending couples pranks on luke.

lani’s bi awakening was julia roberts in the ocean’s franchise.

she really loves true crime podcasts! she even gets luke into them after they get together, and even though they live apart now, they will still have “listening dates” where they’ll listen to updates of their favourites together.

lani has a great relationship with everyone on the devils! they do love to chirp her and luke for being “babies in love,” but it’s all affectionate, and lani can give as good as she gets.

lani loves playing cozy video games to unwind! she’s a big fan of stardew valley and animal crossing.

though she tries to hide it or play it off, lani is actually such a romantic. she loves big romantic gestures, and though she doesn’t believe in love at first sight, she does believe that love that develops quickly can last.

Have you talked about Quinn Jack and Luke’s reaction to heather dating Joe?

jack was of course the first person heather told when it became official between her and jo, he’s her twin brother and knows everything about her! Heather had told him that she was starting to talk to someone but she didn’t specify just because she didn’t want to jinx it? Jack honestly did not believe her at first, he’s a big football fan so he was like ‘WHAT???’ Jack was obviously not the happiest about his twin sister getting a boyfriend, and he honestly had that stereotype of football players being ‘players’ but meeting joe and seeing how happy they are together made him quickly change his mind, he’s very happy for Heather!!

Luke was the second one to find out, and it wasn’t from Heather. Luke and Jack live together, so when Heather called Jack to tell him the news, Luke heard Jack scream from his room ‘YOU’RE DATING FUCKING JOE BURROW???’ Luke was obviously startled at the sudden scream from Jack and went to go see what’s going on, he definitely wasn’t expecting to get the news that his big sister is dating ‘fucking joe burrow’ and jacks dramatics weren’t helping, but Luke was genuinely very happy for Heather!! He could tell just by how she talked about him, that she really really liked him. So Luke was very happy for Heather!

heather told quinn a few days after Luke n Jack (they promised not to tell him) when Quinn came to visit her for a few days, she wanted to tell him in person! Heather told him over lunch, and Quinn was happy for her, but also a little worried, he just wanted to make sure she’s okay (big brother things) but he’s genuinely very happy for her, and he got to meet joe for dinner and they got along very well!!

heathers brothers are all very happy for her, they all love to tease her and joe, but they are very supportive!!

okay so you said date nights are one of heather and joe's fave things, so what are some of the dates they go on ?

date nights are very important for both joe and heather, they both get very busy with their work schedules so having a date night to look forward too is really helpful for them! they both like to take turns planning the date, mostly trying new things

they like trying out new restaurants, bars etc. They enjoy relaxing dates where they go to a bar, enjoy some bar foods and drinks, watching the game that’s on, and playing pool or darts together, just enjoying there time together!

they also love dates where they go bowling, or going mini golfing, or going to an arcade, they love trying out new things like escape rooms etc.

heather likes picking out more artsy dates, like pottery classes, going to wine and art classes etc. sometimes wine tasting, going to museums, apple picking etc. joe likes to pick out more active dates, going on hikes, rock climbing etc.

they like going to the movies or the drive inn, or date nights at home, doing all sorts of things!! There is not much that they won’t do for a date!
