Itâs been almost threehours since the two girls has started to study and it didnât take too long forSelkie to get bored; the two of them, she and Felicia, a rather graciousclassmate, were assigned with a paper research to do paired up together aboutthe historian buildings of several cities and the two girls were entrusted withBellevueâs history. Selkie herself wasnât that interested in the argument, since she has already sifted through during her class, yet she had toconcentrate furthermore on the topic, since it was a rather important research.
âIâll take a closer look thereâ she grumbled at her partner as she headedtoward the first row of books on the shelf, a resigned glance as she already thoughtabout the workload they had to do. She was literally out of energy by now andthe solely thing she could think about, was a cup of coffee âand sadly for her, that wasnât the first coffee, possibly the fourth one. She definitely deserveda pause or something like that and was pretty sure her pink-haired companionwanted it as well.
She passed few booksand as she examined them all, she suddenly left all the papers behind andheaded toward the main door, sluggish paces as she tried avoiding the severegaze of the librarian âwho she has actually already seen somewhere before, evenshe couldnât recall his face. Yet, she suddenly overheard a soft voice comingfrom not so far, âAre you okay? YoulookâŠbored!â and as soon as the fox-alike girl turned, she faced the finefeatures of her visage âquite an amiable one.
âI think we need a serious pause, Feliciaâ she leant toward her, gently taking her handas she pointed out the canteen not so far from the library. âI guess we can reason better with fullstomach, trust me!â she smirked as she lightly pulled her partner againsther to exit the building.
â |Â âOh!â
Felicia let Selkie lead her away from the books, the prospect of having a snack or two sounded much more appealing to her than studying on an empty stomach. Though whether it was just an excuse to leave the researching for another day, Felicia decided to follow.
The vending machine stood outside, various snacks displayed underneath the glass. She glanced at the sandwich that was displayed and as if on cue, her stomach gave a low grumble. Okay so food did sound good right about now.
She turned to Selkie, an excited smile on her face. âIâve never had food from a machine before! It all looks very good...â
âWhat are you going to get?â
