People with uteruses, if you could get sterilized without the negative consequences/drawbacks (major surgery, long recovery, possible hormonal changes, changes in menstruation, etc), would you?*

Not counting infertility or inability to have kids as a negative consequence/drawback of surgery. (Just for extra clarity)

artistic rendition of how my cat fell asleep this morning

KitKat is a 1y blue mackerel tabby and white Domestic Shorthair whose family needs help raising funds for a femoral and and neck ostectomy (FHO).

He has an uncommon degenerative condition called Legg-Calve-Perthes causing necrosis of the femoral head. I know the family personally and KitKat is a wonderful cat, and they’re working on curbing his doordashing so he stays an indoor cat like he’s intended to be.

The fundraiser is through Waggle so donations are secure and get paid directly to the vet providing the service without passing through the owners hands.
