After 10 hours at the vet, some gnarly sedation, and bloody gums, you are now home! These past few days were terrible but we were finally able to get him the dental procedures he needed plus clear this sudden obstruction in his airways. If we could afford it sooner we would've spared no expense, but thanks to his amazing new care plan things are 100% better. Thank you VCA Bonita for the amazing level of care and compassion you all constantly give to my dog. Looking forward to a happier and healthier Momo. 🐶☺️❤️ #momothechihuahua

I found it kind of funny that my mom (who had full-order blood work done yesterday) asked me to interpret all of her results and explain to her the purpose of certain tests and what they mean in terms of her health. I’m actually pretty amazed at how much I’ve retained over the past few years of scientific and laboratory-related study (especially with my terrible memory).

A tad bit nerdy to be excited over things like CBCs and lipid panels, I know. But whatevs. I hear girls in science/STEM are pretty darn cool. :9
