"Read this before you settle for less. Presence is not love. A warm body is not effort. A man can be beside you and still give you nothing. No romance. No intention. No surprise. No real care. Just the comfort of being around someone who barely tries. That is not a relationship. That is loneliness with company.
You deserve someone who chooses you daily, not just someone who stays. Love asks questions, remembers details, and shows up without being begged. It plans dates, holds you when you’re quiet, and fights for the us instead of against you. Bare minimum isn’t intimacy.
Don’t confuse access with affection. If you’re constantly explaining your worth, you’re already in the wrong room. Stop romanticizing potential and start requiring action. Peace shouldn’t feel like begging. Being alone is better than being tolerated. You weren’t made to shrink just to keep someone comfortable. Want more."
What Introverts Seek in Friendships:
Quality time spent one-on-one
Conversations that are deep and meaningful
Acceptance without judgment
Patience when they need silence
Friends who honor their need for alone time
if you can't handle me at my worst, that’s fine, i can't either
“From the very beginning you are being told to compare yourself with others. This is the greatest disease. It is like a cancer that goes on destroying your very soul because each individual is unique, and comparison is not possible.” - Osho
“I have learned that when sadness comes to visit me, all I can do is say “I see you.” I spend some time with it, get up, and say goodbye. I don’t push it away. I own it. And because I own it, I let it go.”
— Carolina Zacaria
“A flower does not think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.”

“I spent my childhood learning how to fear, and now I spend my adulthood learning how not to.”
— Gemma Troy
