The talk around Saeko rejecting Ichi is so weird. Like people are already saying Chitose is better (it’s RGG so I don’t think Chitose will be a bad character).

But it’s weird bc people are making Saeko into a villain for rejecting someone? I think that’s just an issue I have externally. Like people think that a woman has to say yes just bc the guy is nice which just isn’t how the world works. RGG is being pretty realistic here (although they may walk it back lol)

Thing about it is that Atlus never learned the fire emblem trick. If you make everyone romancable and just change the pronouns you can avoid having to remake an entire game like you had to in p3p lol. But again Atlus is homophobic and doesn’t want to make male romance anymore lol

If they can pump out 1000000 spin offs of persona 5 they can make a female route.

I love Atlus to death but this is so true and people need to talk more about it, they are super capable of making women has stronger and more fleshed out roles in their games and not only do they choose not to they actively flirt with the idea and show in the way they market stuff that they kinda know we want them to but they dont want to so they don't, and then people try to cover them cause they're Japanese but many Japanese companies have made many strong female characters and they have for a good while now at this point, so it does feel kinda annoying to see people defend them for it.
