Hence, if you have one source of income that seems to be handling you well, stay with that; if not, then try to break out into new different sources. It is possible that this year you’ll try to learn or discover a new technical skill that can land you really good financial or career opportunities in the future. If not, try it now. This is also a significant time to think about your priorities and values. Are these values going to be good for you in the long run, and are they going to serve you well if you abide by it?

This is also the opportunity to take your hobbies and creative expressions much more seriously this year as this calls for you to possibly reap success from your passions. This indicates you should be more organized and structural with your craft. In other cases, you could feel you have a certain responsibility with your child if you are a parent.

This year is the year in which you’ll find structure, discipline, and restrictions in your health, routine, pets, and daily habits. It is possible that you are taking your day-to-life schedules and habits more seriously. Perhaps you start a strict diet, start a serious morning routine, or dedicate a significant amount of time within your day to work. This easily grounds you and gives you some type of form in your life. However, it is important to be careful that you do not get caught in a loop of autopilot because it can easily lead you to depression, feelings of hopelessness, and negative thinking. This placement also could show ultimate perfectionism so it is vital to make sure that not everything has to go as planned as you want it to be. You are probably more mature about your health as well, perhaps better eating habits. This can also point to a responsibility to a pet, perhaps a pet that is usually hard to take care of, like a big or exotic animal.

This is the time when you are more serious and observative about your relationships and what importance they take in your life. You are probably more picky about who you let close to you, and keep the people who you do not feel secure with distant. If you are engaged, this is a perfect placement for commitment, loyalty, and security within the marriage. If you are not or single, you might lack commitment and could feel far from your relationships with others in a way. You may notice that some of your relationships are distant due to some outer or emotional circumstance–for example: long-distance, financial problems, work, parents, etc. This placement calls for you to pay close attention to your interpersonal relationships and realize the extra commitment and care you’ll have to put into them this year.

IYou might find that you will not receive that much money from others this time around. If you are married or share finances with someone, there could be restrictions getting in the way of receiving from the other person. Perhaps they’ve lost a job or aren’t receiving much income as they used to, or maybe they aren’t willing to share with you. Additionally, intimacy may not be as fulfilling this time around due to outer or emotional circumstances.

This placement shows that one might enroll in an established learning environment such as college, a course, etc. There is an innate need to learn this time around. You might feel as though you need to wait until the perfect time to start learning what you want because you want your undivided attention and dedication for the subject; hence, there could be a delay in enrolling into college, school, or any classes. This also shows that you are more serious about your personal philosophy and beliefs around the time; therefore, you are probably more willing to learn more about views on life to establish a rigid mindset on what you have faith in.

In other cases, you may be putting a delay to your career life due to other obligations or rethinking your entire professional path. This also shows retirement or moving on from your working portfolio altogether if you are older. This time around you are seen as more serious, responsible, or hard working to the public. More than likely if one of the things are happening to you above, you have tons of work to do. However, if you are sure of your goals and aspirations, this placement can be rather beneficial and cause no problems.

This shows that you’ll find structure, discipline, and restrictions in your aspirations, friendships, and community. This is the time where you are reassessing your personal hopes, dreams, and goals. You have to decide whether or not these aspirations are serving you and your future. This placement also points to the realizations that one does not have any hopes or goals. It calls for them to figure it out, so this is more than likely not the time for you to go on vacation or spend lots of time loitering. It is the perfect era for you to reconsider your values as well as who you feel deserve to be apart of your community–develop serious friendships and communal connections.

This is the time to face your fears and weaker parts of yourself. You are more likely going to feel shame, insecurity, fear, guilt, and anxiety during this year. It is usual for one to feel responsible for all of the things that could possibly go wrong around the time, but in reality, it is due to them not coming into contact with and accepting the parts of themselves they avoid. Perhaps they feel guilty about feeling a certain way about a responsibility they have, their personality, their self-expression, and much more. The universe will bringing you personal blockages until you realize what it is you are avoiding and try to actively fix it.

How to Use Tags Effectively in the Writeblr Community

[This is an expanded version of the “Using tags effectively” section on my How to gain attention in the Writeblr Community guide here. Please check that out as well!]

This is a question I get often, and it’s really difficult to figure out how this works on your own, so here’s a handy little guide!

So in order to figure out how to use tags, we have to know how tagging works on Tumblr.

How tags work on Tumblr

Only the first five tags will show up in tracked tags. (i.e., if you tag your post #writeblr, and I’m following the tag #writeblr, it might pop up on my dashboard even if I’m not following you.)

Only the first twenty tags will show up in tumblr search.

Reblogs will not show up in tracked tags or search.

Hyphens (-) won’t show up in tracked tags.

That’s a lot to remember, are you still with me? The most important thing to remember about tagging your work is that the first five tags are the most important. You want to use your biggest, most relevant tags in the first five.

What tags you should use

So you know that the first five are most important, but what tags should you use? What tags are the best?

Here’s what I usually use and though I don’t know if they’re particularly popular or not, but they’ve worked for me just fine.

Tags to use for any writing-related post

#Writeblr and #writing for any writing-related post that you make. These two are the most important tags. I also sometimes include #writblr because some people use that tag instead.

If you have spare room in your first five tags, because you don’t have anything else to tag it with, try using #writers of tumblr, #writeblr community and #writers to maximize your tagging potential. These should only be used in your first five if you have extra space!

Tags to use for your original writing

#creative writing, #amwriting, #original writing, are a fantastic place to start.

Remember to tag your genre as well, like #fantasy, #science fiction, #urban fantasy, #young adult, #YA, depending on what you write for.

Tagging your writing type can also be effective, such as #drabble, #flash fiction, #excerpt, etc., if they are relevant.

Tags like #angst, and #fluff are also really popular, so if either of those apply to your writing, try including that!

If you have some additional space, #WIP, #WIPs, #OC, #OCs also will work, depending on what you’re posting about.

Tags to use for writing advice

#writing advice, #writing help, #writing tips are the most commonly used ones.

You can and probably should specify what your writing advice is about like #description, but that can wait for the tags after the first five.

Tags to use for relatable writing content and memes

#just writer things, #writing memes, #writing meme are the biggest ones in Writeblr, I believe.

#writing problems also work depending on what your post is.

Other tags not specific to the writing community like #memes, #relatable also work, for an even broader audience outside of Writeblr.

Tags to use for writing encouragement and positivity

#writing positivity, #writing encouragement are commonly used.

Other tags not specific to the writing community like #positivity and #encouragement also work, for an even broader audience outside of Writeblr.

Which tags you should use

So that’s a lot of potential tags to use, and only the first five will show up in tracked tags! How in the world are you going to prioritize?

Figure out what type of post you’re making, and don’t get greedy! If it’s not a writing meme, don’t tag it as such. The best way to maximize your tag usage is to use a combination of various tags that are the most relevant to your post. Try mixing and matching and experimenting!

What to do after the first five tags

The first twenty tags will show up in search, and also the organization of your personal blog tags. For example, I use #Undine writes stuff to organize all of my original writing on my blog — chances are, people aren’t following that tag, but it’s important to my writeblr. Your next priority should be your organizational tags for your own blog.

You can also include some tags that you couldn’t fit in the first five! Again, the first twenty will show up in search so if you think someone might search a particular tag, it’s a good idea to include it as well.

And finally, any comments that you want to leave in the tag should be after you get all of your important tags out of the way!

Your personal writeblr tag

So a lot of writeblrs like to use their own url as tags whenever they make an original post, so people can find it easily.

However, if you’re like me and your url has hyphens in it, it will not show up anywhere! So instead of #pens-swords-stuff, I use #pens swords stuff.

This also goes for all of your people tagging other writeblrs in your hashtags — if they have a hyphen in their url, try writing it out without the hyphens so it’ll show up!

Don’t bother trying to use popular tags for reblogs

Your tags won’t show up in any tracked tags or searches if it’s not an original post! When you reblog someone else’s posts, you can forget the first 5 tag rule, and just jump straight into your organizational tags and your tag comments.

Mars in Gemini/ 3H Mars / Mars-Mercury aspects can be attracted to hands, manicured nails, veins, or people who work with their hands.

From my experience, Venus in the 12th house or Venus in Pisces / Venus-Neptune aspects like feet or like to take care of their feet.

Capricorns value structure but often struggle to uphold it, which is why they suffer from procrastination, confusion, melacholy, and stasis. When they don't know how to structure their space, time, and efforts, they get lost and spiral negatively. Their goal, like other earth signs, is to master the physical, practical, spatial, and temporal.

The combination of Libra and Capricorn in the chart makes an undiplomatic person when it comes to advocating for people's rights.

Libra risings are gorgeous but suffer from attracting unavailable or rough partner because of their relationship with their parents. This sometimes makes them overcompensate and not have any boundaries in the workplace and in society because their social presence is tainted by the scars of their family and interpersonal relationships. They are beautiful but get exploited if they aren't careful.

Jupiter in Gemini placements talk a lot and love exploring literature, theory, philosophy by reading and discussing such topics. They often overwork themselves beacause the nature of their opportunities are usually flexibly structured and consuming.

Venus in Capricorn express their love through work. They work hard to guarantee a solid future for themselves and their loved ones. Their biggest investment is their future and as such, it is their most cherished gift which they give to their loved ones.

Venus-Saturn harsh aspects cause violent encounters resulting from relationships. You might suffer from efforts to eradicate your relationship. Or it might manifest in a very isolating relationship which functioned to teach you a lesson on your worth.

Capricorn risings are attracted to people with the same sign as their natal Saturn. So, if you are a Capricorn rising with an Aries Saturn, you are attracted to Aries placements, especially older ones.

Mars and Jupiter usually represent a woman's partner. Venus and the Moon represent the male's partner. If it is a same sex relationship, the logic applies where the female partner is represented by the Venus and moon and men are represented by Mars and Jupiter.

Saturn in the 3rd house usually felt isolated and dumb as children because of their early schooling, siblings, teachers, and extended family. 💟 No one talks about what a Pluto 10H goes thru in their life 🥺. So much of conspiracy around them (esp.at work place), mainly due to people are jealous and intimidated so much so that they just wish the Pluto person harm 😩.

💟 Talking of jealousy, Scorpio Venus/8H Venus are jealous, no doubt, but they sometimes attract more jealousy than they give off, esp from their own gender, mainly in the area of romance (since Venus is about lovers and suitors). Their effortless "intensely , irresistable hot and seductive" aura turns heads of the opposite gender, the cause of jealousy.

💟 continuing the above, it is the classic case of 'the ugly duckling ' with them (after Saturn doms). Maybe it is because Scorpio/8H talks about transformation and Venus is about beauty. They kinda age like 'fine wine' 🍷
