I have started on a advert which will be sent out in the promotion of the companies new range.

Campaign

I am creating a wall picture and a new advertisment for “The Grown ‘Chocolate Company’ as it will look like as an advert. The landing page is the most key visual to make as that will be shown on the website before entering the site to shop. This new edition for the company will have a new insight to the image and make the product more appealing. I need to think how to show this in my portfolio and also as campaign; this is what I need to do next on this project (Deadline tomorrow).

CHANGED!!

WHAT? 

Yes. I matched up with other package colours which I am using for the company and the green I used was too dark in my opinion and I have changed the colour much lighter and more to my first idea of ‘lime punch’ this is much better as a set; just like a symbol set I needed this package to be more on the similar lines and make it more simple and get to the point. I only need is to print out the package and photograph them all but also print out the gimmick separately and make a campaign which will be great for portfolio and as a advert for the company these images for the package will be great for the landing page.

Consistent alignment of package

I have used guides/rulers to line the both artboards and both artworks/net to align correctly. I have not changed images to a get another consistent feel. The few things on the package is the colour, name of bar and the symbol which is different. The ‘nut free’ range is a yellow to a caramel colour and I think a caramel is a realistic feature to be added to the yellow one I think.

Green and new label attached

I have made a new name for the bar and I have a new label to attach to the package. I found a few issues especially around the labels not matched up enough to join in with the other ideas and plans. I need to change the other two package design into the respectable colours which represented by the ‘nut free’ and ‘dairy free’ symbols. As I think I have amended the symbol set enough and more meaningful way.

I have researched into ‘Figs’ which are a name for a fruit.

I Have Thought of A Picture for Landing page

I have added an image of a young woman enjoying one of their chocolate pieces in the bar. I thought when I have made up the package I will need to make a up a gimmick for campaign and a advert and alongside I will create my landing page for the new range.

Landing page

I have created a page for the landing page to be added on their online store. I need to research more landing page to get a greater idea of what I can put as a landing page.

THREE SYMBOLS COMPLETED

These are three symbols which match with the three free from range I have created for the Grown Up Chocolate company. I just need to apply these to my package. I have thought through of the look and see what is best to fit this purpose.

MORE ATTEMPTS ON DIGITAL DRAWINGS

I have completed two out of three symbols of free from foods. I need to carry on with drawing objects and see what I can do to achieve this.

Image of nuts

I have looked at different kind of nuts to get a variation of nuts for the free from range. I have tried to draw around the shape of nut.

LEAF DRAWING

I have almost finished the digital illustration of the leaf. I just need to go around the leaf and make sure I have thought this through and done this correctly. I need to do some more drawings and need to do other drawings of nuts and milk to get a free range going. This drawing has took quite a long time but this is what it takes.

Digital Illustration - Leaf

I have started to draw a leaf by using the pen tool; which will be a vector for part of a symbol for representing Vegan. This vector illustration will be a big part of the signage on the packaging.

Facebook post

I have put on my Facebook a post associated and mentioning my colour scheme and to get people voting on this. I replied to the young woman as she replied. It is great research aspects and will take on board this as she is a young woman.

Meeting with CSS Tutor

I have spoken to my css today. The main pointers which come across this meeting was to explore more symbols and to create a few more sketches and choose a final one. I will also have to create and finish the colour scheme in the mean time. Next, I need to create some recipes and names for the bars as they are vegans, dairy free and nut free; I think alliterations and wackaging is key to get the point across.

AMENDMENTS

I have started to create a few ideas for the package which will make the package more appealing. Next, I will crop on Photoshop the image I will use for the gimmick on the pack!
