FUCK, I though it was just another lucky meme but LISTEN. Since a week ago I was waiting a phone call to confirm me if I got a job or not in my university. I reblogged this yesterday’s night “just for fun and because I don’t want any bagel to be mad with me”, and today’s afternoon, while I was losing my time as always, the professor I was supposed to work with called me and asked me for my personal information to start working with her.

She was friends with most of the Alola kids when she was younger (Lillie, Hau, Mallow, Sophocles, etc.) but lost contact after moving to Kalos. Except Hau, they’re pen pals! ^^

When she moves back to Alola she becomes pen pals with Shauna and Evelyn! She occasionally writes to Olympia as well as a mentor.

Berdly has become, unironically, one of my favorite characters. He reminds me so much of myself when I was younger. How I was a weird ass nerd whose whole personality was being the smart kid and pokemon. How I couldn’t understand how I came off to other people. (info about early chapter five not really plot important or spoilers to my knowledge:)

And god, did the small interaction we got with him in the beginning of chapter 5 cement his relatability to me. Not him asking three people out in a row and getting rejected. But that he was left out of the friend line. Kris got to go third wheel. He didn’t. He took it so well too, the same way I would have. I would have respected my friends’ wishes and just stayed put. I remember crying a lot because of situations like this. I was weird and cringe. I just followed people around without realizing they didn’t want to be my friends. Berdly despite being an obvious comic relief loser has always had this underlying tragedy to me. Always available, yet never anybody’s first option. He’s not a bad person either, just a little full of himself. He genuinely cares about Noelle and respects her boundaries. Berdly is a good friend and I feel sad whenever I actually start thinking about things from his perspective.

Anyway screw all of you, Berdly gets what it’s like to be left out of every social event, to be told to sit at the other lunch table cause the main one’s full, and having to walk behind everyone else because the sidewalk/hallway is too narrow. He’s my favorite. I will die on this hill just like how I defended Chara to the death back in 2017
