I bet you won’t take the time to read this… 👀 What do you see? I see a woman proud of a body that she worked very hard to gain control of. I see a talented photographer learning new techniques and shooting new subjects. I see an artist who expresses themselves with interior design. I see girlfriends together truly supporting one another in their goals. I see happy, healthy, unfiltered me. 🧐 If I had posted a photo flexing my newly built muscular physique or my large curves after loosing only a portion of my weight(while showing the exact same amount of skin), would your response have be different? Would you have hit the like button instead of just scrolling? Or better yet, would you have withheld any judgment or disapproval you’re currently holding? Both would’ve shown the same amount of skin & both would’ve shown someone who’s very happy, healthy & proud of the skin they’re in. If you’re someone who falls into this group, I implore you to ask yourself, WHY are YOU taking it negatively? 🤷🏼‍♀️ To be honest, it no longer really matters to me what you choose to see. I’m truly grateful for every single one of my supporters, followers & fans, but the truth is… THIS is about me. This page is a glimpse into MY reality & MY journey. It’s just 1 of the many creative forms of expression I utilize to tell the story of who I am. It’s an ever evolving, ever growing & ever progressing expression of ME. 📗 So, let the record show, there will be no more apologies from this point forward. I’m a HUGE fan of the “come from nothing” & “had to find a way” success stories. I love hearing these stories because they give me hope. Hope that maybe, if I work hard enough, one day my brands’ stories could join the ranks of these aspirational gems. 💎 @mvmt aka “Movement” is one of those stories I like to share. #MVMT was started by two broke college kids (that like myself) had an affintiy for nice things, but often times had no way to afford them.
