The final Blood Moon of the tetrad (4 consecutive lunar eclipses) concludes tonight! And it’s a supermoon… and it’s a harvest moon. So I guess that makes it a Super-Harvest-Blood-Moon. Set your eyes to the sky for one of the greatest shows on Earth because the next time you’ll be able to catch a blood moon and super moon coinciding will be in 18 years.

Late night thoughts

It just hits me suddenly, or not "suddenly" maybe since it's more of a creeping sensation than a sudden rush, but it comes out of nowhere, crawling, trickling, seeping into my very pores — except I think that's just a trick, because I'm fairly certain by now that it isn't some outside phenomenon that pushes into me at all; it's inside me, deep inside the very core of me, this rotten darkness, a black hole at the center of my being, my very own abyss, that never truly leaves me alone, just dozes off occasionally, allowing me some temporary reprieve, a moment's false sense of security before it sucks me back in again... It's tiring. Sometimes I wonder if it's self-absorbed to be so wrapped up in self-loathing as often as I am. Sometimes I wonder what it's like to not feel contempt at one's own existence, what it's like to be content...
