@queensconquestâ asked:Â Sherlock held up a bag of sweets, though carefully kept out of Hansel's reach as he spoke up towards him. " Say, would you be willing to share some information in exchange for these sweets? You seem to often be around certain scenes. We could both benefit from this. "
Of course the second the sweets were in Hanselâs sight he tries to grab for them, only for them to be pulled just out of his reach by the detective. He frowns, and eyebrow raised at the man before he speaks his reasoning.
Thereâs a pause as he seriously considered the deal being offered. He wasnât stupid, he knew what this would entail - but he also knew how to not expose Idea, he was older and wiser than he looked after all. âYouâre going to need more sweets than that if youâre going to bribe me,â Was his eventual answer.
Ready for an obscure muse from an obscure game?? RP blog for Hansel Hexenhaus of Code: Realize. Please like or reblog if youâre interested in interacting!
There are only three others besides Hansel confirmed to be canon:
Omnibus
Guinevere
Saint Germain
Below are some headcanoned members of Idea that I might develop or at the very least reference vaguely during threads - as Idea is Hanselâs family and he calls them as such (even if they donât all tend to gather most of the time,or see eachother often, as Hansel states in the third game).
Major thanks to @queensconquestâ for helping me come up with some of these.Â
âLittle Red Riding Hoodâ
Only Omnibus knows her real name, everyone else calls her âredâ, âlittle redâ or variations of the color red.
Hansel tends to call her cosmos, short for âchocolateâ or âredâ cosmos which is a shade of red and the name of a flower. Though if heâs trying to joke with her, heâll call her Chocolate
Sheâs one of the more talkative members of Idea, and the one who frequents Omnibusâs home the most when off duty (aside from Guinevere). She affectionately refers to Omnibus as her grandmother, and sometimes Hansel as her âuncleâ. She is technically older than Hansel though.
Her accursed arms is technically the red hood she wears.
Inspector LestradeÂ
One of the more recent members of Idea, heâs only been apart of the organization for a couple of centuries.
He was recruited by Saint Germain who was building up his worth in London at the time. Lestrade would have died in a confrontation with a dangerous criminal had Saint Germain not offered the proposal of immortality.
A bit strict, a bit unused to the world of magic still, a lot of things catch him off guard but heâs coming to terms with it slowly.
He uses his position at scotland yard to cover up a lot of Ideaâs activities in London - especially around the events of the main game.
Probably the one to interact with Omnibus the least, but he still does answer her call when she summons him / all the apostles.
his accursed arms is a gun - however itâs not the one he uses while normally on duty, but always carried on his person.
Jim Hawkins
Joined sometime after Hansel, but was under Guinevereâs harsh training so they didnât talk much.
From the brief meetings theyâve had, Hansel can tell Jim is still a little haunted by what happened to him when he was alive. But overall he seems okay.
He does get onto Hansel about his sweet eating habit though so that puts him pretty low on Hanselâs favorites list.
His accursed arm is a sword and gun combo, but he isnât seen using the gun unless absolutely necessary.
Heâs normally stationed near the ocean as he is familiar with sailing and pirates enough to keep an eye out for those kinds of issues.
Beowulf
One of the oldest members of Idea, next to Saint Germain and Guinevere.
Doesnât socialize with the other members that often, if at all.
Hansel doesnât like him that much. Beowulf seems to always see Hansel as a child and doesnât think he should be in Idea - same with Red Riding Hood.
His accursed arms is a sword and shield - seemingly made out of dragon scales and bone.
Horatio
One of the weakest fighters in Idea but makes up for it for being one of the better members when it comes to political missions and stations.
Doesnât talk a lot when Idea meets up, constantly an observer.
Seems unnerved by Hansel, so Hansel naturally loves to mess with him.
His accursed arms is a book, which he can turn the pages into sharp blades if needed.
DrosselmeyerÂ
One of the oldest looking members of Idea, being elderly like Omnibus.Â
Uses magic almost excessively to the point that other members of idea have to warn him about not using it in front of average humans - but he tends to play it off as being a magician if caught
Hansel likes him as theyâre both a bit eccentric and Drosselmeyer always brings him sweets whenever they meet.Â
His accursed arms are razor sharp wires, which he normally attaches to puppets he enchants to do his bidding for him - but the wires are truly what his weapon is.Â
Jane EyreÂ
One of the more serious members of Idea, meaning she gets along great with Guinevere, and also lectures Hansel often.
Known to have a strong sense of justice and also one of the biggest believers of god within Idea.Â
Takes Omnibusâ summons and visions very seriously.
Doesnât like the more eccentric members of idea (Drosselmeyer, Hansel, Little Red) that much but still gets a long with everyone well enough.Â
Her Accursed arms is a dagger, much like Saint Germainâs but larger. The sheath of the dagger is also considered apart of the accursed arms and is difficult to tear through or break.Â
Benvolio
Though being a member of Idea, he hates violence. He normally doesnât do missions alone and is accompanied by one other member. He tends to be the one to diffuse arguments when all of the members met up.Â
One of the kinder members of Idea, and talks often with Hansel.Â
His accursed arms is a staff, which has a hidden blade to turn the staff into a spear when needed.Â
Goldilocks
One of the more cheerful members of Idea, Hansel likes her cause she likes to eat food / sweets as much as he does.
Also a bit of a freeloader but not as bad as Hansel. Is able to trick most people into doing things for her through words or her looks.
Side note, sheâs not a young girl but a young adult.
Only the members of Idea call her goldilocks, which is her real name. She takes other names depending on what mission sheâs on.
Her accursed arms is a set of metal claws she can slip on like gloves.
Also Saint Germain mentions the âtop ten delinquentsâ within Idea and i thought it would be funny to make that listing:
A small chuckle left Sherlock as he looked towards the other.  â I am told this often.  â
â...-â He had known someone was following him - but he didnât think they would enter the forest of fog. Or at the very least if they did, they would be in a separate area from Hansel himself. Was this the will of the forest itself? His mother? Or was this man so much an enigma that even magic couldnât steer his actions?
He stares for a moment before adjusting Gretel, not taking an offense stance quite yet. But still, he was really pushing it. âYouâll get lost if you walk any further.â The fog is thick around them, the trees towering over them. Magic hummed in the air, though to Sherlock it might just seem like a light breeze.
Hansel doesnât want to answer the question. Heâs honestly two seconds from breaking his promise to Cassian and simply attacking this guy in the middle of the hallway.
âThe New Security.â He answered instead of his name.
â i see⌠how interesting. â
the boy is clever too. itâs what he expects from such a creature. even if itâs utterly unexpected. â i wasnât aware crowley would hire any new security, considering how he is. â a warm smile, a chuckle; by appearances he doesnât look too bad. â i think weâll see each other often! â
âIâm cheap.â He said nonchalantly (and not knowing the double meaning to his statement). He did vaguely remember crowley protesting because of money - but Hansel didnât require such things. Itâd be nice, but as long as he got to eat sweets and do his mission, it didnât matter.Â
âOften, huh......â His eyes narrow at Malleus before he looks away with a small sigh. â...plan to cause trouble?â
Hansel doesnât want to answer the question. Heâs honestly two seconds from breaking his promise to Cassian and simply attacking this guy in the middle of the hallway.
âThe New Security.â He answered instead of his name.
You are a willow tree, providing shade and security
You protect the only way you know how. You are a safe place, a lantern in the dark, the one who is a home to everyone you love. Your anger is big but quiet. The kind of white-hot rage that does the most damage when someone you love is at risk. You bend but do not break. In this way, no one is stronger than you are.
How do you need to be loved?
Casually, the same way you love to breathe
You want someone who will see your favorite flower and will give it to you, without even thinking about it. You want someone who will remember all the little details about you, the things so seemingly unimportant but that matter more than you thought they did. You want someone who will still be there, thirty years down the line, holding your hand while the two of you do two separate things. You want the intimacy of being known by someone who makes you feel safe. You don't want expensive dinners or grand proposals. You want someone who will love you consistently.
CHECKMATE. the funniest part of me making lestrade a member of idea is that he got to know hansel before sherlock and then the second he did meet sherlock he probably went âoh fuck thereâs two of themâ
@queensconquest said: â You are no help at all when I know you can be. â( from Sherlock )
Hansel looks off to the side, leaning most of his weight onto Gretel. Sherlock was right after all. There was so much he could do in this situation. So much he could do, yet entirely unmotivated to do so. Not to mention, it wasnât any of his business. It wasnât his fault he had stumbled into one of Sherlockâs investigations, quite literally.Â
His mother told him not to cause trouble, but it didnât mean he had to help either. Especially if itâs not a mission from mother.Â
Green eyes lazily look back towards Sherlock. Green that had seen too much, had experienced more lifetimes than Sherlock could even fathom. Thereâs a passing thought on if Sherlock notices this, and thatâs why he calls the apostle out so plainly. Hansel entertains the idea of turning the detectiveâs world upside down, revealing one close to him that is deeply connected to him. But no, Lestrade wouldnât appreciate that, and it would make mother angry. He could still have such childish impulses sometimes. Such is the life of an immortal who had their childhood stolen from them.
The shadows under his eyes almost seem to darken as he looks away again. He entertains the idea of what to do. If he was taken into âcustodyâ, no matter if it was simply for questioning or not, Lestrade would have him out in no time. Still, him helping would only bring more questions than answers for a man like Sherlock. Quite the predicament.Â
âMhmmm....â He hums, âWhat do you think Gretel....should we help the poor little detective?â He asks his accursed arm, the chains around his arms jingling as he adjusted his grip.Â
CHECKMATE. brit posts 1 (one) Sherlock reply and hansel just perks up and starts eating sweets in the background like âgays on the street, what will they doâ
He stares dully at the device in his hand, before looking at the plate of cookies Guinevere helped him make. He shoved another one into his mouth before returning to the chat. Well, he had already turned the apartment upside down, the only info he might get from now on was through this chatroom. Modern times were strange.
â We meet again. â he typed, sent, and waited.
CHECKMATE. honestly i have been working on that other apostles hc/meta post but itâs just taking forever to decide what fictional characters i want to use so far iâve only gotten two. it would help if I actually read books but noooo iâm illiterate -
â....did you follow me here?â Well, that wasnât good. Because now they were standing in the forest of fog. Thankfully, he hadnât walked to motherâs house yet. But still...the fact that a human made it this far....
