Hello!
I reblog posts with furbys in them and identify them. You're free to tag me in any posts! However, I am easily mixed up by custom furbys, I may inaccurately identify your furby if someone tags me in the post. You can kindly correct me if that happens!
I am best at identifying 1998 furbys, and worst at emoto-tronic. I can definitely still identify emoto-tronics, I just may identify them incorrectly.
TWRPTube - A Humans Touch
While there is an obvious filter overlaid the furby here, it is possibly a (1999 model, 2000 release) coral furby baby!
Its body is not as slim as the 1998 models, and its white faceplate sticks out against its fur despite the filter. It's mane also matches, while most of the other furby babies have something that makes them an unlikely guess. Not to mention the pastel pink ears, which are blending in on the filter!
.... it also has the furby original tag visible, so!
Took Gale to meow wolf, some of the staff members thought it was cool I brought a furby! Unfortunately she didn't want to wake up and say hi at the time.

From up to down from left to right, we have the (1998 model, 1999 release/SE) racing furby, a (1999) mint green furby baby, supposedly the peets/bottom side of an (1998 model, 1999 release/SE) autumn/witch furby, and the blue one is supposedly a (1998 model, 1999 release/SE) Year 2000 furby without its little sash!
The one I didn't name, the red one, looks like a (1998 model, 1999 release/SE) santa furby, without his hat! However, their lack of hat makes me uncertain about labelling it as such. But, there isn't any other Furbys of that coloration with that eye color out of the factory, and without being able to look at the rest of them I don't have much to go off of.
yep!!! Right on every one! It actually not even my full collection!
I originally just had my heart set on the racing edition and was set on getting it no matter the cost for my birthday, but my mom did some digging on Facebook marketplace and found a whole bunch of special editions being sold at once for the same price of the racing one I wanted (though the mint baby I bought separately later)
All of the alterations are correct too, some of them were missing a bit so I just took off the rest, like the Santa one (cherry slush) and some I still have their stuff lying around somewhere like the year 2000
The little ear on the side is a reindeer special edition, and my other ones that aren’t visible are vevie (short for vehiclular manslaughter valentines) my valentines special edition, and birdseed, my giraffe special edition
the others are teacup (baby mint furby), radiowaves (year 2000), Aether (witch furby) and my racing one, who’s original name was arson but he’s getting a makeover soon so will be dawned with a new name
thank god for resellers who are clueless about the online furby community
Oh wow, that's wonderful! And I'll second that statement, I only have two furbys (a 1998 skunk and a 2012 yeti furby who ive customized, they were a set deal) but I got lucky from some random goodwill site selling them for like, $30 together. All my other attempts were pretty moot, especially for working ones!
But anyway, your collection of buddies sound lovely! It's touching to hear how people came to get their furbys :)

While this is a custom furby (its faceplate is painted black(?)), it looks like the baseline furby is a Fresh New Look (1998) Tiger Furby, going off it's eyelids! It is also wearing some snazzy earrings.
If only I had their sense of ✨️fashion✨️ and ✨️style✨️
