My spinning wheel is going on an extended holiday with @trueishcolours!
Step 0, too tragic to photograph aka I forgot: dramatic goodbye between this wheel and the miniature music box spinning wheel
Step 1: lift to the train station courtesy of @hebrideansky! Wheel fits perfectly in a dog crate, if you have the perfect sizes of wheel and crate.
Step 2: who needs a folding wheel when you can just sort of hook it over your shoulder around town while you buy out the bakery of all their cherry scones
Step 3: we are aboard and pretending to be a bicycle! (The heater is off, I checked.) One person asked questions on the platform but there have been surprisingly few weird looks. @identifying-uk-trains-in-posts here's one for you if you like
oh i never responded to this.
i'm not confident but my best guess would be a class 158. transport for wales red handle and a carpeted floor with signs of wear. the other tfw sprinters (classes 150 and 153) and class 230 don't seem to have carpeted floors in their refurbishments. the class 197s, 231s and 756s are much newer and use a different carpet. it could be a 175 but at time of posting they are out of service.
so yeah
most confident: 158
second guesses: 150, 153, 175
