ok i’m writing this kinda late so sorry if it sounds a bit all over the place but i’ve been seeing this whole gooseworx / tadc / funkyfrogbait situation on tiktok and it's gen feeling like I have no idea what's the truth and what's just tiktok being stupid.
like people are straight up calling gooseworx racist and saying it like it’s a fact but i keep asking myself… where is the actual proof for that??

because if the allegations ARE true then yeah, absolutely, gooseworx should be criticized heavily. I'm not trying to blindly defend anyone here I just want the TRUTH.
but right now it feels like the internet has this habit where someone gets labeled something horrible and then everything they’ve ever said or done gets plastered like it’s evidence in court, even if half of it are nothing burgers.
same thing with funkyfrogbait, i don’t even think they were trying to be THAT involved in the drama, but now???!! i keep seeing people saying they’re racist or “of course they are theyre white” just because they apparently didn’t research something enough.
I don't think being supposedly ignorant is being racist. It's being ignorant plain and simple. like fair enough if there's actual proof of goose being racist then yeah there's room for criticism on funkys end for not delving into it more research wise or just not talking about it on stream.
no, funkys not racist. Not for being ignorant on whether a creator of a show they're NOT a huge fan of was a racist or not when there's such stupidity on the Internet these days. Especially tiktok. With here say and bull like that.
and with the tadc finale leaked ending stuff too it’s like people are allowed to not like the writing or the finale or whatever but it feels like it’s gone past critique and into just hating on the creator as a person. especially over stuff like screentime or character stuff that honestly feels more like fandom opinion than anything “morally wrong”
look my main point here with this essay of sorts, is that I just wish people actually gave true evidence instead of vague tiktoks and bitching on Twitter.
I want evidence. Rn or I'm not gonna be on the critics side at all. all I'll see if a witch hunt on the loose and stupid people apart of it blabbing on tiktok.
We all need to slow down and actually think before harassing people and giving them horrid labels with no clear evidence to others.
Now here's you critics chance. Send me evidence, REAL evidence. In comments, dms, tag me, hell even send an ask to share with me if anonymity is what you're looking for. I'm not here to argue I'm not here to fight I'm here for the truth and to set the record straight with this whole situation.
