Xian does not serve a typical Chinese food.. their cuisine may be best described as a fusion of Middle Eastern and Chinese foods.

It is known as the first capital of China and the resting place of the famous terra cotta soldiers. :D A little trivia there.. LOL

Chengdu and/or Juishaigou, China! We didn't have enough time to look around the streets for some good food, so here are just a few of what we had on our short stay on both places. I'm thinking of going back again to Juishaigou around autumn, they say it's the best season to visit the National Park. But not anytime soon.. ^^

Saturday Delights. What's great about weekends is that, I get to cook great food! I admit, these are far from perfection, but hey.. at least I can cook! haha!

My sister's Birthday :) She bought a Groupon Voucher for Korean BBQ Dinner Buffet at LC Korean which we all thought was a great deal... unfortunately, we booked our reservations late. So.. we ended up celebrating it at Cafe Cartel instead. I've heard a lot about this but never really thought I'd dine here.. Maybe because I thought it'll be just another stake house that I'm not so fond of. And it proved me wrong. This American-Italian Cafe is a MUST try! I'm so glad we choose to eat here. What made it even special is that, I'm with my family this time <3 <3 <3 We'll be coming back, SOON!
