She should have known that her fib would be caught in the bright light of Han’s vanity. Leia shook her head as she caught him looking at himself. Why did he have to make everything so hard? Why couldn’t he just do what she said like everyone else who was on her side? Then again, if they didn’t argue, how much would she get to speak with him? “I’m not in that much of a hurry.” She said, the bite in her tone implying she wasn’t in a hurry for him or his ship. Then her mouth went tight for a moment and dark brown eyes darted away. She’d just remembered she was about to ask him for what was essentially, a favor. Since he apparently wasn’t the sort to take orders even from her. Or especially from her. Leia took a deep breath and looked back to him. Leia was probably unaware that as her gaze returned to him, her head was still giving that small, slow shake of exasperation. It annoyed her that her unavoidable base feelings of hers were so distracting. She pushed thoughts of the way he was standing out of her head, and gathered herself entirely with a deep breath and an extra centimeter of height she didn’t really have. “I have to go to meeting in the Outer Rim. The X wings won’t make it that far and I don’t have any of the lightspeed freighters to spare. We’re still using them as shelter. Han. I need your ship.”
Han couldn't be assed to be ordered around by her. He didn't take orders from anyone. Favors, he could handle, but so far, she hadn't asked for one. There was a first time for everything, and low and behold that was exactly what had brought her to his ship. He smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest and looked down at her. He wanted to chuckle as he watched her try and appear taller than she was, but he decided better of it.
Part of him feared that if he made too much of a show of teasing her, that she'd find help somewhere else, and he didn't want that. It thrilled him that she needed him. Well, his ship, but all he read into it was that she needed him. His head gave a quick nod as he then mentally calculated exactly how long it would take him to get the Falcon back in ship shape. He moved back into the shaft and looked back up at her.
"When's this meeting?" He began tightening the nuts and bolts that he'd been working on prior to her arrival. It was mostly just busywork until Chewie returned with what he needed to get the ship ready to travel at the speed of light. It had been giving him fits the last two trips he'd made for supplies, and now that she would be on board, he couldn't risk the Falcon stranding them out in space in who knew where.
Finishing the last of the bolts, he climbed back up and closed the hatch to the shaft and moved across the Falcon to the opposite side where he opened a panel and began to remove the bad part so that when Chewie returned, he'd be able to place it and then be good to go. "Gonna need some supplies, too. Guess you got that taken care of?" He knew how efficient she was, and that she didn't need him reminding her of the things she had to do. But he'd need a few things too depending on how long they'd be away from Hoth.
