This should go without saying, but DNI if you are ableist, homophobic, transphobic, pro-harassment, pro-censorship, etc.
At some points Izuku decides to win over Katsuki by... counterattack his bullying.
Katsuki destroys Izuku 's book? Izuku yells at the teacher that they want to read together, for example.
It's a bit ooc but Izuku yelling about how much he loves Katsuki despite doing stupid stuff and Katsuki being flustered is so funny lol
wait i had to look up I Favor The Villainess but that is SO THEM. I still know nothing about the actual plot of the series but Holy canoli that's like just them but genderbent. 😭😭
Also, I don't think that's ooc at all!!! Izuku definitely fights back at some point, he definitely gets aggressive about Katsuki, and Bakugou lowkey probably finds it hot,, that's so them. Like oh, my nerd has some bite in him.. waow..
unfortunately I have injured my hands which makes typing extremely difficult, not necessarily because of the injuries themselves (which is really nothing serious, to put it simply i was working with metal wire and sharp wire cutting tools, both of which ended up gashing me) but because of the bandages, which make me clumsy lol.
Because of this, I won't be able to write a full chapter this week. I'll be updating D3k!ru_167 on August 18th, essentially missing the next update but picking it back up the week after that.
I hope this is enough heads up, sorry to my readers, also this post took me like 10 minutes to write cuz I had the hit the buttons with the little opening in my bandage on my finger tip LMAO

Fun fact: the origin of the name of my fic, "D3k!ru_167", comes from: Dekiru, which means "can do", and 167, which if spilt up into 16-7, is Izuku's birthday (The 16th of July). This title is also Izuku's username.
Katsuki's username, "LRD_EXP_MURDER", means "Lord Explosion Murder". Izuku previously thought that he "EXP" part of his username meant "experience points", like in video games.
And Katsuki thought the "D3k!ru" part of Deku's username was a cringe way of saying "The Kiru" ("De Kiru".) So he called Izuku "Kiru".

wait I'm kinda distraught I wrote out and planned my fic in its entirety and then I went on AO3 to browse some new fics and I found one posted today that literally follows the exact same plot and premise as the one I had just planned
oh my God guys I can't believe D3k!ru_167 is almost over. I'm gonna cry when I post the final chapter actually 😭 I have like 3 more chapters to write (not 3 chapters left to post, dw, I'm a bit ahead in my writing) but holy crap I hope I can wrap it up well for you guys.

Unpopular opinion but I actually think Magne was GREAT trans rep, despite being killed off.
Like obviously her dying was sucky but for being a very temporary character, she was actually really well-developed which makes me think that she wasn't originally supposed to be killed off that soon tbh.
Imo to me it seems like another one of those cases where.. well, let's just put it like this: Horikoshi wanted to keep Toga alive and continue her and Ochako's relationship but his editor didn't like the idea and had him kill her off, too.
But I digress. I actually think she's great trans rep, and part of it has to do with Tiger, who's a transmasculine hero, and part of the Wild Wild Pussycats. He was able to transition. He was able to to get HRT and surgery (as evident by his character page saying "he used to be a woman but then he paid a visit to Thailand" [which is pretty well known for having sex change operations be legal!!]).
And Magne was a parallel to him. Because of the fact that he was a hero, and she was a villain, she didn't have the same privilege as him in a hero-centered society.
And it makes me really mad TBH whenever people say that she was a caricature— that she looked like a "man with a wig on" (which, holy fuck, that's really transphobic?? I actually saw someone say that about her wtf) because she's just like. A trans woman pre-everything. She's very clearly acknowledged and respected as a woman in the show, even her friends in the league defending her identity to Overhaul.
And people who are making fun of her for her features.. like.. you realize that there are real trans women out there who look exactly like her, right? And they shouldn't be called a caricature for just existing how they look, right?
And maybe Magne just doesn't want to medically transition, which is completely valid, too!! Though I don't necessarily think that's the case for her character, I think she's more supposed to show that heroes get social privileges over villains or even regular civilians in more ways than just wealth and power, but we like. Shouldn't bully trans women (or trans people in general) for being gnc?? Ever think about that..
And I'm not trying to say that people can't have a gripe with how her character was treated. I'm just saying, think before you speak, because a lot of people's criticisms on her are just criticisms of real trans women. Her character WAS respected as a woman and as much as I wish she hadn't been killed off— which, again, I don't feel was completely intended originally when her character was made (most characters that only last for a season or so aren't that developed) I also just like. Can we just leave Magne alone. I love her.
