         Given this blog ( primarily ) serves as supplement to my main blog, I won’t follow back blogs who aren’t following me on my main blog, and I tend to give heavy preference to those who interact / plot with me there. Comfort reasons, mostly, as my blog mentions OCs and relationships to said OCs, and a lot of my characterization of Dottore hinges around them. My OCs are my priority ; Everything here is secondary.

       This blog WILL contain references to  ━ if not outright explicitly written  ━ incredibly dark subject matter such as : // Extensive body horror, medical horror, gore, abuse & violence, obsessive & toxic relationships, as well as themes of stalking, kidnapping, and murder. This includes violence towards children and animals. 

      Do.ttore’s backstory itself contains references to childhood abuse and neglect as well as themes of mental illness, but none of this serves as a proper excuse for ( nor even explanation of ) why he does what he does. He may potentially act in an agreeable manner at times and even develop close/intimate relationships with those around him, but he is a fundamentally corrupt person. Nothing will change that. Do not take anything I say as an attempt to otherwise justify him and his behaviors.

       “ You mean to say your incessant irritants are not already a form of rebellion?” there is no trace of agitation in his voice; and still, his expression remains amused... until , that is , Florence’s words begin to take a certain sort of DIRECTION - and thank the archons that they are alone , not just that they are the only ones in the laboratory who speak the language of their shared home country -

       Shameful still, though, is the egregiously bright blush that comes to rest on his cheeks. Eyes widening in surprise as teeth settle against his bottom lip, pathetic the attempt to hide his reaction to such -- to such --

       “ Cursed indeed, “ he hums quietly, glancing over the blueprints, papers, gears strewn about his desk. The fondness in Florence’s voice is enough to further his own endearment towards the man ( himself; twisted reflection; his own and yet not )

       “ Diminutive, hm ? “ there’s a laugh to his tone, gaze cast to his other self with his own sort of fondness. Amused, intrigued. “ It sounds less like you’re discouraging our downfall - and more that you’re imploring me to make you a PET. “

              ( he doesn’t sound opposed to the idea. )

       “ Is the size of your hand truly large enough ? It wouldn’t be a particularly intimidating beast. Is CUTE what you’re looking for ? A small companion for your pocket , something to place bows upon the neck of ? “

       IS IT TRULY SO STRANGE ? perhaps to outside eye; Most unique, the form of self-obsession that it must appear to be, to dote upon and praise that which is simply himself in alternate form. Observance comes in a curious gaze; a smile pulled at the edges of his lips.

       “ If I am you, and you are I, and we are one and the same, then are your embarrassments not already mine - are mine not already yours?” A hum, amused, “ Besides - do you truly think yourself so ugly as to be confused for an old man like myself? And here I thought you pride was grander than that! “

       There is something of affection, in the manner with which he moves to organize his madness; To lay out a bit more clear what he works upon, for the eyes of him-not-him.

       “ A smaller version of the ruin serpent that lies deep in the chasm ; I had once thought to build one for our purposes, but the effort simply wasn’t worth it. Newfound missions have once more re awoken the idea in my mind-- I’m simply trying to find a way to make it more... entertaining. Worth-while. “

       A laugh rumbles from the man at mention of his age; the supposed fragility that comes with it... though he cannot deny his form is no longer in it’s prime; perhaps it’s less the weakness that he’s laughing over.

      “ I feel that you underestimate my stubbornness; Though I’m flattered at your KINDNESS, worrying over this poor old man, “ something fond laced in his tone, in his smile.

       “ I call you my prized companion and yet still you feel insulted? Shall I dote on you instead? Call you my precious, my most adored, my most glorious invention? I, too, can be generous. “ ( but, besides the point. )

       “ REFINING AN OLD IDEA. The blueprints had laid neglected at the bottom of my drawer for years, now; I thought they could use a bit of... reworking.”

VI.    DIALOGUE  STARTER  CALL      (  @idrottore​  )  .  

❝  You  seem  very  keen  on  neglecting  the  most  important  person  in  your  life  ( ME  ),  Doctor  …    to  the  point  I  must  wonder  whether  you  have  grown  bored  of  your  old  little  toy  wonder  (  also  ME  )  or  if  you  are  just  ungrateful  ?  ❞    This  is,  in  fact,  a  trap.

       HE IS NOT SO FOOLISH as to not recognize a trap being laid before him ( though he is not nearly so well-versed in the task of socialization and wordplay to understand which step will set it loose, and which might save his ears from the fuss )

      “ Oh? “ and curious glance, “ I was simply fixated on work; I hadn’t realized my prized companion- ” woe, feeding the beasts ego, “ would feel so neglected over a few missed hours, “ needy thing. He cannot claim he isn’t the same.

       “ Perhaps you’d like to sit with me, then. “

It was endearing to a fault, but it was nonetheless something he’d rather nip at the bud lest the loose canon of a man attempt such …  hazardous feats on him, with him, any other form that involves him him  ( what simple worries ).  ❝ A moment … ❞  The come here dies on his throat when the other is already presenting himself next to him.  ❝ I’m unsure … ❞  And a hand is quick to grip the inner part of the faux doctor’s thigh, carmines narrowing as he, with little forgiveness, raises Dottore’s leg up, up, up high and above of even his own head  ( still bent, of course, he did not wish the rapscallion to pull a muscle after all ).

❝ Do you think me capable of this ? ❞  Dry as burning wood.  ❝ Honey ? ❞

       THERE ARE SEVERAL MANNERS within which Diluc may very well be the death of Il Dottore’s many segmented selves; This moment truly only serves to exemplify such fact. Grin falters with the effort, the sting of a stretching muscle - But Dot is more than determined to keep up his most cheerful ( however absurdly so ) demeanor.

       Even if he starts to feel a bead of regret on the back of his neck ; The fluster of physical touch, however somewhat threatening it may be in the moment.

       “ This? “ swallows ; giggles, stubborn enough to keep on digging this hole that he’s dug for himself, “ Why, I think this would be -- quite an easy affair for someone as flexible as you, honeybee ! “

       There’s a positively fiendish little giggle in his voice as he shimmies up to the other man, bumping their shoulders together in some odd little display of affection.

A moments pause marks intense thought, a soft hum in the throat-- “ I don’t suppose I would be capable of such a feat... ah-- but I’m not nearly so active as you are, though!
