Don’t think about making art, just get it done. Let everyone else decide if it’s good or bad, whether they love it or hate it. While they are deciding, make even more art.

Iconic quotes about Art and Creativity
Side note: There’s this Japanese word that doesn’t really translate to English. Koi No Yokan: The sense upon first meeting a person that the two of you are going to fall into love. I didn’t know it then. But this is what I was feeling.

That’s honestly so beautiful.

1. Set goals and objectives: decide what you want, what type of qualities you admire, what type of goals you wish to achieve.
2. Assess strengths and weaknesses: examine yourself, what you are good at, what you need to improve on. For example if you have lots of ideas and plan, but you’re also a little shy you know that’s what you should work on
3. Take out toxicity: things, or people, that constantly hurt you or make you feel less than should be taken out of the equation for growth. This is easier said than done, but at least minimize the things contaminating your path to progress.
4. Create an action plan: a way to slowly change your behaviours and habits, this is hard because you should be realistic too. Again if you’re shy this could mean putting yourself out there more.
5. Implement plan: this is when you put into play what you were planning. This step is hard to because it requires work, and this is the part where you need to be sure of your goals that you made earlier. You’re putting in all this effort so be sure it’s for a good reason.
6. Analyze the effectiveness of the plan: after a while of consistently implementing the plan analyze the impact of it. Do you feel happier? More fulfilled? Do you think it’s going well? If it’s not it’s probably because you’re expecting too much, and need to pace yourself. If that’s the case break your plan down into phases so it’s manageable and doesn’t overwhelm you.
7. Forgive yourself (and others): along the line you may have made mistakes, or others may have done small things to upset you. While it’s important to recognize when you’ve been wronged it’s also important to address it in a healthy way. Talk out issues and work for forgiveness. This allows you to be rid of negativity and focus on yourself and your path.
8. Develop discipline and routine: this is something that happens after constantly repeating things that work for you. Repeating good behaviour and habits so much so that they become a part of you. This isn’t based off the “treat yourself” self-care rhetoric, rather it’s hard work you’ve put into changing your ways of thinking and dealing with failures. Instead of regression after failure, your work ethic and mindset should be to find another solution, and to not beat yourself up.
9. Maintain or cultivate relationships: having positive warm people in your life will make any hardship easier and having them support you will be motivation.
10. Always be learning: learn from people around you, learn from the trees, learn from the relationships that didn’t work out. This will help you understand others and to improve your own life. Don’t become static. If anything becoming the best version of yourself is impossible, it’s unattainable because you are constantly changing and life is not static either. You need to be the most adaptable and kind version of yourself.
I quite college I don't know what to do now..
Hey how are you! Sorry for the late response. Quitting College is a huge step, and its usually good to do something like with a gameplan. Right what you need as soon as possible is to make gameplan. You need to have a develop the gameplan and go after it as if your life depends on it.
1. What do you Love and find out what ways you can make Money doing it.
2. Once you find that out make sure they there are ways that you can make Money with it can generate enough funds to sustain you(rents, food, gas etc…the essentials.)
2b. If you can’t find something like that find something that is in the same field that will help you with that. Work full-time on your salary and part time on your dream.
3. Write out what you would love to be doing in the next 5 years from now.
4. Invest in your dream: You can work your dream and go nowhere if your not working to develop it. You develop your dream by investing in it. Read books on people have had success in that industry, pay to go to training seminars in that industry and always be flexible to changing your methods to more efficient ones.
4a. Invest in your dream, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: You always work on yourself 10x harder than you work on you business(Your Dream). Read books and watch videos that are about making you better person. High self esteem, knowing your self worth and learning how to work with people will push you to heights you never imagined you could get too. My favorite Personal Development materials
1. Bible
2. The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson(this book made me cry..lol)
3. Rich Dad, Poor dad by Robert Kiyosaki
4. Les Brown and Tony Robbins videos on YouTube
5. The Magic of Thinking Big by David J. Schwartz.
5. Don’t Give Up: In this journey to your dream you are going to realize that there are a lot of stumbling block. There are going to be bad days when you really question whether you can make it or not. Don’t give in; bad days are temporary, but quitting is forever. Keep pushing, keep fighting and you will see the light!!
Hope this help. Have a beautiful journey and stay blessed.
Get your daily dose of encouragement!!!!!
TAKE DOWN NOTES. Don’t be lazy. That’s the most important thing. Our minds don’t work like computers or robots. A lot of us are not blessed with a sharp memory, so we tend to forget things out of the norm. But hey there’s one solution for that and let me repeat, TAKE DOWN NOTES.
ASK QUESTIONS. Majority of us are afraid to ask questions about the things that we didn’t understand. Reasons are (a) you’re shy, or (b) you’re afraid that your classmates might laugh at you. C’mon! Nobody’s perfect, you know.
RESEARCH AND DO THE ADVANCE READING. Of course your teacher would probably tell you about a hint of your next topic. So do the move! Research and do the advance reading. If he’s not the type of teacher who announces it, then you can open your subject text book and look for the next topic.
REVIEW YOUR LECTURES. Right after school or before going to bed, review your lessons. It will lessen your burden for your upcoming exams. So when that time comes, you don’t have to panic in studying, all you have to do is review. No time for cram!
UNDERSTAND IN YOUR OWN WORDS. If possible, avoid memorizing your lessons. It’s not advisable for students like us. The tendency is it will only confuse you on what word comes after another word that you’ve memorized. Bonus tip: try to talk in front of a mirror and imagine that you’re the teacher. Explain to your students what you have learned without looking at your notes.
PEACEFUL STUDY AREA. Avoid a crowded and noisy place. It will distract you from studying. A perfect study area is somewhere peaceful, clean, organized and comfortable.
TEST YOURSELF. Make a test questionnaire to check if you understood what you studied. Close your notes, don’t talk and time yourself as what you’re required to do in school exams. In that manner, you can already rate yourself.
GET ENOUGH SLEEP. It will make your brain ready for your exam. A big NO to all-night study. Refer to number 4 for the solution.
Remember that Albert Einstein once said “GENIUS IS 1% TALENT AND 99% HARD WORK”.

Saylor Academy
So I found this today. It is courses that you can take online, and I know that there are a lot of places that offer this kind of thing, but yeah. I have no idea if they’re any good for college credit or whatever, but if you’re interested in taking a course to learn something on your own time, not necessarily to get credit or anything, it seems like it’s pretty good?
Also it is free, you start whenever you want and you can take as long as you want to complete it, which I think is good. I think they have some pretty interesting courses and stuff also, so it could be worth checking out?
May the next few months be a period of magnificent transformation.
It’s definitely time. (via heartlacedwithslugs)
