They say “Trans is beautiful” without taking it all into account. Trans PEOPLE are beautiful, yes, but being trans is not. It’s so damn scary. My life has been so much harder than it should be. I constantly fear being killed one day for being who I am. So many other trans people do, so what would stop someone from making me next? I am scared. Freedom is constantly covered by this wall. I can not be free for so long, and the journey is exhausting. I will not be free until I can be comfortable with my body. I am trapped. It is so exhausting. I cannot even count how many times I have broken down because my body isn’t what it should be. I have clawed at my chest, wanting to be free, wasting tears on shit I can’t help. I’m exhausted. What is trans? It’s terrifying. But some of us will get through. I wish there could be more.

The Metal Gear Franchise is so revered because it has an incredible talent of spending two hours ranting about war economy and the flaws in our political system and how it’ll lead to turmoil, and then just cutting to something rediculous like a “cyborg ninja” pirouetteing to destroy mooing robots, or a battle tank that sings like a vocaloid, or a man made of bees, and it somehow doesn’t skip a fucking beat.
