Rainy Day Blues, 2023 [Super Ikonta, 80mm, Ektachrome e100 120]

First time shooting on Ektachrome and saved it for a literally rainy day. I was told that the blues are incredible in this stock, and I couldn’t agree more! Love how it renders moodiness when combined with overcast/rainy skies.

Was also told the reds come out spectacular, so I was lucky to find some spots where I could capture both colors. Did my best seeking out red things around downtown.

Didn’t do the best with the second shot since the light was so dim, forcing me to go for 1/30s. Captured the shake of my hand, but in ways, feels like I have a fleeting moment forever. Plus, this camera is an absolute TANK, so no way anyone could get sharp with this shutter speed, e100 & camera without a tripod!
