jane walked into aprils room without knocking, not today. she sat next to april. holding eye contact with the girl. april wasnt a romantic person- but for jane? she was whipped. she swallowed visibly before speaking.
“what do you need?”
her voice shook hard. jane smiled and held aprils hand.
“weve been best friends for.. so long.”
april nodded. her eyes darted from janes bright red hair to her pink lips- not focused.
“i think i need your help. you can help me cant you?”
jane said. her voice was full of confidence as she moved closer to april- watching april lean in like a pathetic puppy- who nodded eagerly.
“im thinking of going on some dates soon. but still… i need some help practicing kissing. your older- you know that shit hm? dont you?”
april got upset- dates? she tried to speak- but her voice was whiny and her lips were pouted as she cut jane off.
“im going on dates too! yep.. me too…”
jane didnt believe her- but played along. nodding as she coo’ed.

jane leaned closer- april could smell the cigarette smoke hanging from janes lips- she moved closer. jane took the lead. she pecked april once but as she pulled back she felt aprils entire weight move to her lap- april pushed her down on her back and started kissing her with more passion. only pulling away to mumble how jane “didnt need any dates”
the passionate kiss soon turned to a makeout session that was no longer innocent practicing.
the last thing april remembers was jane unzipping her hoodie- and then the practice really started.
