Monet and I visited Brookside for their Leadership Day. We listen to their poems for their poetry tea and learned about their habits. Sometimes things are on their own time frame...this was one of those “things”. Mrs. Kings’ 2nd grade class created a very large abstract mural and then we cut apart to make three separate but connected pieces. It all came together quite nicely, it just took longer than I would’ve liked. While at the river sending up a few prayers, I looked down and noticed this little feather floating by. Hoping it would come close enough to shore for me to capture a picture, sure enough it did. Spirit sends little notes all the time...are you watchful. Do you see the signs? I try to be present enough to catch them, but sometimes my daily life is so crazy I miss them.
