Nick walked through the rather large supermart, adding in various items to his cart. From pizza rolls and beer to the movies he and Bentley had been too lazy to purchase at an earlier date, Nick made sure to stock up on everything they’d need, making sure he had all of Bentley’s favorites. In the time that they’d known each other, this was the longest they’d gone without seeing each other in person – four days is a really long time, but by the end of the night, Nick was hoping to ask the million dollar question, a label they didn’t need but it would be nice anyway.
Bentley was nervous because tonight would be the first night that he and Nick could properly be together. What if Nick was having second thoughts though? The blond thought that maybe because the other was officially single he might like to stay that way. Bents fretted for a bit until Nick was due to arrive. He really didn’t know what to expect from this night.
Nick collected their items and paid for them all before ushering them into his car. The drive to Bentley’s wouldn’t be longer than fifteen minutes, though they would be the longest of his life, or so it seemed. He shot Bentley a quick “on my way!” text, being sure to include the winking and kissing emoji, a small laugh escaping his lips.
