I will never let go of the fact that Fiddleford dropped everything in order to go pursue a business relationship with Stanford. You can not tell me with a straight face that he wasn't heavily queer-coded, ESPECIALLY KNOWING HIRSCH.

Can you tell us more about Jobelle?

Yes ofc! A little backstory on her >>

Jobelle was born in 1959 in Northern Mississippi. Her parents died when she was 12, leaving her with her 19 year old brother for most of her life. She was to BackUpsmore in a last ditch effort to get a proper education after being rejected from several colleges and studied microbiology. She met Stanford in an ADV BIO class.

Stanford eventually convinced her to join his escapades down to Gravity Falls, mostly where she would disect creatures for him and help document findings. They get married, which was much more romantic on Joby's side than it was Ford's (He really only did it because he felt it was "the next step" rather than being genuinely interested in her.)

This created a new dynamic where Ford tried to fulfill more traditional roles. Jobelle would take care of the housework, and he would advance in his studies. Joby, at this point, effectively abandoned her career in favor of taking care of the two of them. <<

The rest of the story is pretty much filled in :) Any questions are encouraged!

I don't know how an interaction would even occur between the two, but I know her DPD and crippling self-doubt would kick in full force, and that would only be complimented by ford's degradation towards her and praise towards himself... I mean, she would very much worship the ground he walks on, zero self-preservation from that woman after losing her husband for 30 years.
