Nola: Sarah’s Day

New Orleans has been on the destination list for Sarah and I for a while now. We felt it was only right to visit for her birthday this year. We did tons of exploring and ate so much food. Below is a recap of our adventure. I can’t wait to get back to Nola. 

We stopped by Emeril’s for lunch to our surprise he was there and filming. What a way to start your birthday huh? 

Sarah got to play model the whole trip. :)

We also found a new friend. We had a great conversation and I personally learned a lot. Check him out.

Maternity: Adrienne + Sam

This upcoming weekend is the baby shower for Adrienne and Sam. A few weeks back they came to the studio for a maternity session. I’m excited because there is a chance for the new one to be born as a taurus like myself. We had a great time shooting and I look forward to the shower this weekend. Thanks for allowing me to capture this milestone guys.

Engagement: Alexis + Taurean

It was the 2012 Divine 9 Atlanta Greek Picnic. By fate, Alexis’ chapter was staying in the same hallway as Taurean’s. As a group, they hung out often throughout the trip. There wasn’t much room for individual time but there was definitely attraction between the two. On the last night of the trip Alexis was over the games and told Tauren, “Excuse me, I’m choosing you....”. Taken back by her confidence, Taurean had no choice but to choose Alexis too. 

They stayed in contact over the next few weeks before Alexis showed the confidence again and asked Taurean on a date to Kensington Park. From intelligent conversations to funny jokes and playful a personality, everything he wanted in a woman was there that day. After years of dating, Alexis and Taurean took a trip to Disney World where he gave her the fairytale proposal in front of the Cinderella Castle. 

They’ll wed later this year. We met in Downtown Detroit for our session. 

Alexis is a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority and Tauren is a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. Greek love at it’s finest. 

Taurean knows how to keep a smile on Alexis’ face. 

These two had the funnies coming one after another. 

We found a cool red door while exploring Downtown Detroit.

Trust The Shooter

Setting Up Shop: LEF X M.I.A. Vintage

Over this past weekend I had the chance to get the LEF boyz in the studio for some camera work. Live Enormous Forever(LEF) is a group of young professionals and business owners.

Allante (left) is co-owner of M.I.A. Vintage, an online vintage clothier with unique pieces from the 90's and early 2000's. David (right) is a designer, specializing in custom shoes. With the rest of the team just as strong, 2016 looks like a promising year for LEF.
