He doesn’t ask what Thomas wants, but he does place the glass onto the table with a cold bottle of water. For himself is what appears to be coffee upon first glance. “So then. Do you have any other questions for me? Concerning the house here?” He twists his hand around in a circular motion to gesture for the house.

The guard nodded and stayed silent as Travis spoke. “Alright I’ll protect him” the guard replied. The Italian laughed before he sighed softly “I’ll be fine I can handle myself” he smiled gently. He rolled his eyes “ok I will”
“Well I know you can, but I still don’t want you getting shot.” Travis shrugs, at least he cared enough to tell him to hide. If he didn’t he’d just stay in the same room and duck behind him. “Right. I’m going to move to another room, but I can’t imagine it will take them much longer to find whoever the assassin is this time.”

The warmth from the fire washed over them both, almond-shaped eyes lazily watching him over her steaming cup of coffee, the steam stark as it curled up past her jet black hair. Ivan had warned her about this, and she stayed steady, her face stony and neutral. She wasn’t as good as her Founder was at it, but it’d work for now.
“I heard from th’Kingdom’f Hawaii’nd Cascadia both that you’ve been traveling up’nd down th’coast line, visiting favors and sweet-talking. That was months ago, though. I thought y’might’ve given up.”
“…Though, I don’t blame you f’not coming all th’way out here until now. S’a hard trip. Th’capital’s only accessible by air’nd by boat, after all. “Doesn’t mean he’d have the strength necessary to kill me though. I’m made of some tough stuff.” He winks, but he knows Spain would never leave him be. “Like what? Is there things you can grow better then others?”

Lovino got up and followed Travis out of the room, standing by the door in order to listen to what was going on outside. Why couldn’t he Just sleep? The guard looked a bit frantic “some assassins are in the castle after you sir! Get back in your room please while we deal with this”
“Firstly it’s a manor, not my castle. How much of an ego do you think I have?...Don’t answer that.” If the though that assassins scared him, he’d be wrong, but he doesn’t want Lovino in the crossfire. “I’ll be perfectly fine, I want you to focus on keeping the other male with me safe.” He does return to Lovino however to explain things. “So it seems my monthly assassination attempt has come. “ He tried to make it sound like a joke, he really did. “So I need you to keep your head down and hide yourself in a closet or to stick close to one of the guards. I don’t want you accidentally getting shot at.”

Lovino would probably help Travis if he actually woke up. The Italian sadly woke up to the sound of guards running around and yelling. He poked Travis “I think something may be wrong, you might want to go check something out”
Travis can’t help but to groan as he is poked and he to heard the ruckus. Not wanting to move, but making himself he gently shifts Lovino to the side so he can get up and find out why they’re yelling. He not so nicely grabs one of the newer guards who is running like he is a chicken with its head cut off and demands answers. “You can either tell me what’s going on or you’re going to find yourself making nice with the patch of grass outside my upstairs window.”
