(((whelp. This didn’t work out. Imma put this blog on hiatus for the forseeable future; I really wanted it to work out, but after the holiday rush, my muse is just plum burnt out lmao. Maybe I’ll manage to make it work in the future but for now... thanks for sticking around guys!)))
(((As someone who’s actively playing through the Mario & Luigi series, I wanna put in my two cents here? Luigi has a lot of stuff happen to him in this series- stuck in holes, jammed in barrels, gussied up in Mario’s Girlfriend’s clothing um? but at no point does Mario ever point and laugh! Absence of evidence does not mean evidence of absence, people. By my reckoning, Mario might not be ignoring his brother, but rather accepting Luigi for the accident prone cinnamon roll he is. And let me tell you, having someone on your side who can see and accepts your faults can sometimes be a better support than someone who tries to assure you that those faults don’t matter.)))

In her haste to catch up with the hat that’s being blown further and further away, Niko doesn’t pay much attention to where she’s going, or the possibility that there may, in fact, be someone in her line of fire.
Until she all but crashes into the poor fox kit, almost certainly knocking him down in the process, and upon being momentarily distracted from her goal of catching the runaway headwear, she finds herself tumbling to the ground as well.
“Uwaah–!!”
“WHHOOOMPH!!!”
Tails went FLYING with the hit, landing on his butt a few paces away. For a moment, he just lied there, wide eyes staring at the sky, completely unsure of what had just happened or if he should even bother getting back up.
But then the Hat caught his eye again, reminding him that he wasn’t dead. Yet.
“Ooooogh...” he groaned, “Did someone get the number on that cement truck?”

It was pretty clear to hear Knuckles sucking on his teeth as a quiet “Rats…” emitted from him. His head wasn’t kept down for long, though, because the moment it came back up, a grin was full force, fists clenching in front of him.
“Who cares about a dumb flashlight, huh? I don’t care what it is, but I’ll punch it! C’mon, Tails. This place’ll be a breeze. A walk in the park! A-”
“You…You didn’t hear that either, right?”
Silently, Tails turned on his heel. His tails quickly being to FWIP FWIP FWIP and propel him towards... anywhere that wasn’t here, tbh.

Snowball Park was just about the best place in the Mushroom Kingdom to go skating and simply play in the abundance of snow. However, that fluffy white stuff didn’t come from anywhere and in a trip to go ice skating, Luigi found himself caught in one of the area’s heavy snowstorms. Just his luck. Right now the skinny plumber was wishing he was at home with a blanket and a hot chocolate. Where was that darn Warp Pipe again?
His mind became distracted from warm and cosy things by the distinct sight of yellow amongst the white. The figure looked familiar… albeit smaller than he remembered.
❝—T-Tails…?❞
“E-EEP!” Tails squeaked. Spinning on his heel to face Luigi, he almost lost his balance, teetering dangerously close to a nearby snowbank before righting himself. He wasn’t expecting to be called out to, especially not by a... Human? How did this guy know his name?
“Y-yes...?” He asked cautiously. “That’s me... who-?” His question was interrupted by a sneeze. Oh right, the cold.

“Yeah, it’s safe.” Mighty said, waiting for the little fox to get up. There was definately something strange going on with tails. First – he was so small! He couldn’t remember the last time he had seen him that small. Second, shouldn’t he know that he could throw a full grown tree like that?
“Yeah, I’m also the one who knocked it down in the first place.” There’s a nervous laugh. “Sorry about that, I didn’t realize someone was on the other side of it. I was just tryin’ to get some fire wood.”
“Wow-wee!” Tails marveled, trading equal attention between the fallen tree and the fellow who’d felled it. “You’ve gotta be super strong to do something like that!” Even stronger than Knuckles, probably! Which was saying something, given how hard that guy could punch. Tails briefly wondered where that guy had gotten off to before snapping back to the present.
Awkwardly, Tails shuffled his feet- embarrassed for having almost been crushed in the first place.
“Th-thanks for savin’ me, Mr...?”
FWIP FWIP FWIP FWIP!
Tails hovered an arms length away, looking up and down his creation with an appraising eye. The pine tree, small by most standards but perfect for short woodland critters like himself, was looking significantly more festive now that he’d strung popcorn around it and added a series of pinecones he’d dipped in colorful paint to it’s branches. Despite that effort, it still looked as though it needed something... possibly on the top?
“Hmm...” Tails wondered aloud, “Maybe I could rig up an item box? Or would that be too heavy...?”

Roleplayers are literally like shy dogs okay. Like at first it’s like “I’m not sure about this character or mun…” and we kinda interact but mostly avoid them. And then we talk to them and it’s like “friend? Friend? Friend!” And then we actually become friends with them and then we’re in full out puppy mode, hopping up and down screaming “FRIENDFRIENDFRIENDFRIEND THROW THE PLOT THROW THE PLOT FRIEND MY FRIEND”.
And that’s all you need to know about nearly every roleplayer ever.
