The Olympian-signed electric guitarist is the classic image of a daredevil; chaotic, reckless, and far too relaxed causing havoc. It's no surprise some of the gossip magazines have dubbed them as batshit crazy. An accurate rating, they'd remark. You get the feeling they're a little proud of the title, or maybe they've just chosen to embrace it.

As I am primarily an author (as in I literally have done nothing else with my life) I am new to coding (I took ONE coding club in fourth grade) and am trying to write out and perfect a chapter before converting it into typical IF form.

Stationed on its hills is the proud Academy of Dives, which houses thousands of children and young adults of all upbringings and social standing, teaching them the art of either enchanting or casting.
You are one of those lucky students - a caster with the highest magical strength across the entire Academy paired with an equally impressive enchanter to write talismans for you. Life handed you the easiest path to glory on a silver platter.

Nadir - Enchanter
Nadir is your enchanter and the first-ever friend you made after arriving in the Academy, though you doubt he shares your opinion. He is everything a student should be and everything you are not. Even though you both share a rare gift, only one of you appreciates it, which often leads to arguments between you.
Shuli - Enchanter
Shuli is your beloved roommate. She agreed to stay behind with you in the abandoned dorms, which has made your life easier. Her kindness and patience towards you knows no bounds, and when you squint, you can almost see a shining halo on top of her head. If you hadn't seen her beat up a bunch of thieves with her bare hands, you, too, would be fooled into thinking of her as someone on the weaker side.
Eris - Caster
Eris is called ‘The Darling of the Academy’ due to being everyone's favorite despite being quite the troublemaker. You even heard that so far they never lost in a single popularity contest due to their beautiful doll-like face, but that is pretty much all you know about them. That is, until - all of a sudden - they start randomly approaching you all the time.

Leto and Sol - the inseparable duo with completely opposing personalities. Sol glares at people like she never had a peaceful day in her life - while Leto is a walking cloud full of smiles. People wonder how these two get along so well. You may find the answer to that soon enough.

Kara is the spirit you bonded with when you were seven. He is the closest thing you have to a family.

A carefree soul that also happens to be a teacher. Gias is a mysterious person, and you suspect they know more than they let on.

A reclusive, ill-tempered horror author who just so happens to be the town's latest newcomer…until you show up. Croft came to town with their share of secrets, and there's nothing in the world they want more than to escape Easthaven.
Beck Dawn (genderfluid)
Fun-loving and reckless, Beck is an adrenaline junkie who can't seem to stay out of danger…despite being completely unaware of the town's secrets. A magnet for trouble, it's no surprise Beck lands right in the middle of Easthaven's latest mystery.
Ravi Singh (M)
Easthaven's local mortician. Ravi is easygoing and quick to laugh; though sometimes his humor leans towards the macabre. But his easy smiles don't cover up his almost chilling comfort with the Fog; nor do they get rid of the pile of skeletons in his closet.
Perri Loveless (M/F/NB)
Runs one of Easthaven's three radio stations. In the day they play music, and at night they host a supernatural-themed call in radio show, The Lonely Shore. Perri is an enthusiastic (if a bit awkward) person whose theories tend towards the unbelievable. It's unfortunate that, despite all of their theories, Perri has no idea what's actually going on in Easthaven.

The story starts in the Kingdom of Vesphire, a fictional kingdom within a fantasy universe, but it truly begins in the Kingdom of Rosea.
The two kingdoms are situated in a world that was blessed by the gods, the lands were filled with magic and beasts of wonder. For unknown reasons the gods abandoned the realm taking everything they had brought with them while the beasts moved to forests and the sea. Anywhere that was far from civilization.
You were born and raised in Vesphire until tragedy struck and you were taken away to Rosea. Contrary to the snowy lands of Vesphire, Rosea was tropical in the north and temperate in the south with mountains surrounding the lane.
The Kingdom is a colorful land with green scenery contrasts to its large white buildings. The streets are always busy from early mornings to the late nights, and filled with calls from the shopkeepers from their wooden stalls with sun-faded striped fabric or blue tarps above it. It is truly a lively place.
The ruler of this kingdom is none other than Luceris De Rosea. He is the man who led destruction right onto your home, he is the one whom all of Rosea admire. The land is immensely beautiful but many of it's people harbor great hatred towards you due to you being the last royal of Vesphire.

Helios De Rosea - The Crown Prince of Rosea, and the child of the man that destroyed your home. He has straight white hair that reaches past his shoulders, pale blue eyes and golden brown complexion. He has a radiating smile that instantly brightens up the room, like sunshine itself. He is the hero of all fairytales, the boy with a golden spirit full of light and hope. He keeps his distance from you, after all you are the last royal of Vesphire. He is one year older than you.
Hunter Oakes - Crown Prince’s shield and Sir Lancelot’s ward. They have short straight black hair, deep blue eyes, and a tawny complexion. Easygoing and reckless; their serene smile puts everyone at ease. They’re loyal to the hand that feeds them but understand what you went through was an injustice. They are four years older than you.
Soarine De Norazaan - Eldest daughter of the King of Norazaan, and an envoy to Rosea. She has waist-length wavy light green hair with mint eyes and a rosy complexion. Her smile is charming and practiced, she has a vixen-like personality. Soarine wishes to take the throne and better her kingdom, her desire for the throne is underlined by a thirst for revenge against the people in her kingdom who have forgotten their own history. She is one year older than you.
Vincent Annora - Ikram Annora’s son, and is the next General of the Imperial Army. He has wavy brown hair that is shorter at the front but longer at the back, green eyes and an olive complexion. The perfect example of what a knight should be. He is very guarded and passionately protective of the people he cares about, he may seem rough around the edges but has a gentler side to him at times. He dislikes you due to his mother’s own hatred towards you and your late family. He is two years older than you.

Alastor - He/Him - 29 - Prince of Lyall
“You listen to me. I paid for you. You belong to no one else.”
Alastor is the first prince of Lyall, currently learning the ways of ruling a kingdom.
Around the castle, he’s known for his brash attitude and inability to take criticism. However, there’s a quite gentle side to this arrogant prince that only a few see.
You’ll often find him locked away in his room, pouring over future plans for the kingdom.

Hael - They/Them - 27 - Lyall Second Born
“Perhaps fate was never on our side, my love.”
Hael is the second born of Lyall. They are learning the way of ruling at a distance, and as a backup, but they have no real interest or desire in the affairs of the government.
Around the castle, they’re known for their bright smile and helpful demeanor.
You’ll often find them sitting around in the sun, wine in hand.

Hira - She/Her - 25 - Princess of Lyall
“Shall I cancel the weekly payments we’re sending your family, darling? I didn’t think so.”
Hira is the Princess of Lyall, with no plans to rule. She is truly the last resort.
Though she has no plans to lead, that doesn’t stop her from working within the town. Being known as the “unseen princess” among the townsfolk makes her job as the town’s librarian a breeze.
You’ll often find her in the bakery by the library.

She belongs to the Seers of Lyall, a coven within the kingdom who work closely with the royal family.
She’s often seen practicing her craft by the lake behind her coven’s manor. She is visibly at peace while working near or with water.

Killian - He/Him - 32 - Tavern Keeper of Lyall
“Perhaps it's the liquor causing me to say this, but…”
Killian owns the Mystic Goblet located in the heart of Lyall.
He’s known around town for wooing those who come into his tavern, but never letting them get close enough to know him.
You’ll often find him out and about in the town, helping the other store owners make deliveries and keep their doors open.

Morana - She/Her - 26 - Lyall’s Privateer

Morana has a complicated history; however, she doesn’t let those messy memories stop her from performing her job at the highest ability.
She’s known among her crew for placing others above herself and her devout loyalty to the royal family.
You’ll often see her in Killian’s tavern when she’s home.

Nevan - He/Him - 28 - Hired Sword Priest’s Right Hand

Nevan is a hired sword of the royal family, currently posing as the priest’s right hand. He’s quickly learning the church has secrets darker than he could imagine.
He’s known for his reserved demeanor within the church’s four walls. However, you know there’s someone dangerous lurking beneath the surface with him.
You’ll often find him in the town's community garden with a novel in hand.

The very first person you met that didn't immediately want to kill you. She's the one who told you everything you need to know about the shadow world. Despite only being a vampire for a year she's managed to gain a good bit of fame throughout the shadow world of Seattle anyone who is anyone knows Juliette, but you're one of the lucky few who gets to actually know her. She's got a soft spot for you, but she'd rather walk into the sun than ever admit it.
One of the many that are hunting you. Honestly, they're so bad at catching you that one might think they're leading everyone astray on purpose... They claim to know you, but you have no memory of them. Part of you knows there was once something between the two of you, love that would've moved mountains with the way they still look at you. But that's in the past. Now, they're just another obstacle in your way, stopping you from proving your innocence.
Another shadowhunter and another person stopping you from clearing your name. Maybe in another life, you would've been able to truly know them for the kind and genuine person they seem to be. You'll almost never see them stray from Quinn's side. Their undying loyalty and desire for justice has made one of the nicest people to walk this Earth, your worst enemy.
