Mirror Vision

Glisten is a favorite of mine and I personally like when people utilize his mirror qualities. It can be hard, considering he has a face, but it's very fun! It's also fun to think about people Glisten likes to mirror and how exactly he does it.

I couldn't decide if I liked it more with a background or not. And the only person I asked told me to just post both. I don't need to be told twice!

Wide Thursday

2026 pancake week brings you a Blinchik redesign!

No matter my current biggest interest, I will always make time to draw Blinchik at least once a year. And it totally just a coincidence that it often lands on one of the Pancake Week days.

While redesigning her this year, I thought of many things. First and foremost was me finally settling on a profession for her: a baker. The other thing on my mind was once again messing with her hair design. At this point of my life, I am feeling like layers are the way to go. And more bows.

Monkeys are so cute, majestic or otherwise dignified in the traditional art of cultures that actually lived around them. You still see it in their modern stuff! North American pop culture on the other hand is slightly more prone to playing them up as grotesquely stupid-looking :(
