I want to talk about this picture for a bit.
Look at it- it looks like a family, right? The mom in pink, the dad in grey, and presumably two brothers.
Without looking too long you get the feeling that one of the brothers is not as favored by the parents, the one in blue being kind of off to the side and not getting much attention. We can assume this is flug, because the picture is on his wall, blue is his color, and because he has the slim shoulders. He looks professional and well groomed, not even appearing to be wearing the bag, even though we can only see his body.
The one the parents seem to be paying more attention to is the one in yellow, who we can thoerize is his brother. He looks more unkempt and unprofessional, with a crooked tie and an untucked shirt holding up a lazy peace sign. We can glean that they are polar opposites, Flug being the more tidy and presumably more booksmart, while his brother is lazy and messy. It’s kind of like Stanford and Stanley pines from Gravity Falls.
But anyways, maybe flug holds ill will towards his family for not playing favorites? Maybe he’s so smart because he was trying to prove himself, and when realized he couldn’t do he turned to a life of evil, not knowing what he got himself into? Or maybe he knew what he was doing and flew the plane into the mansion on purpose? Maybe it was an accident on his way to college and he was the only survivor?
We can see he sleeps in what is probably a cryogenic freezing tube, which makes sense considering we have evidence to believe that he has been around since AT LEAST the 20s, not to mention along with the gang (which raises some questions about the timeline, like when Fives and Dem were created, how theyve been kept alive as long as Flug even though we don’t see them sleeping in any form of preservation unit, if they’re alive so long because they’re not technically human like he is, but that’s another long ass post)
We can see that flugs family in the photo aren’t exactly in period clothing like you’d expect if Flug has been around as long as we think. And how would he have this picture of 505 as a baby if he’s just as old?
The picture before is in Black and White and it shows the whole gang fully grown, which means that the picture of 505 would be Black and White too to make sense with this timeline.
The other photos throughout the episode all have the heads torn off as well, with similar clothing but different colors. Maybe they were the old coworkers of BH org back in the day? Not sure, but could Flugs family have been part of the Men Without Hats rebellion??
There’s not a lot of matchup, but it’s all in he nature of theorizing. Just some stuff to think about.

((About that family-playing-favorites-theory: I remember the Mojo JoJo short where we see Flug taking over after Black Hat for the first time. Remember when Mojo talked about how his vast intellect was overshadowed by the Power Puff Girls, making his “father,” Professor Utonium, love the girls more?
Remember when Flug cried during that story?
He even said, “I feel your pain Mojo, just hang in there.”

Oh yeah. I 1050% believe that Flug’s got a brother that was favored. I actually think it could be his younger brother who grew taller and was more athletic and just favored as the “baby who could do no wrong”. Now there are a lot of people, including me, that think that goldheart is Flug’s brother. And that’s why he dreams of him and wants to destroy him. And that’s why he covers his face so he isn’t known purely as “goldheart’s brother” and so he can be his own villain. In either way, I definitely think it’s canon that he has a brother who was loved more and that’s what fueled Flug to push even further and always be the best. I know from experience, growing up like that can drive a person mad.
Okay but…
If GoldHeart is his brother… does that mean he also have glowing powers too?
Like how GoldHeart just shines like the sun??? The sky just turned gold???

Even he posted his own selfie that may be a face reveal but it’s just looks like a flash in Instagram! The light in his photo is not an accident! It’s his face being covered by HIS OWN GLOW! And he even ranted in the description about how there are people out there making fun of his face!
I.. yes actually I am going along with this. I don’t think he glows ALL the time. I think it happens when he’s upset/ fueled by adrenaline. Like when supper happy or super anxious. And he’s an anxious person. It probably happened to him a lot. But it’s really one of the only things he can do related to powers. His brother got them all. So he buckled down and became the genius we all know and love. But Black Hat hates the light. He can’t have someone glowing so bright work for him. Someone who was SUPPOSED to be a hero.
In my theory, on why Flug has to get on a plane and crash to BH’s house…
Maybe it’s because he was running away from his parents or just takes on an adventure all by himself. The airplane is not a helicopter, maybe it’s a jet or a transport. He doesn’t have the power to fly, so he takes the plane. He also already have a license and a coat.
Flug was about to get in to his destination, but he just got in to The Bermuda Triangle (where specifically a lot of planes and ships crashed and never seen ever again) also to be the one of the most dangerous places to be.
But if you look back to Hat Island (when Flug and the crew is going to Atreno City) you can see a giant hat-shaped smoke above the island.
So that’s why he crash landed to Black Hat’s house, he can’t even see from the smoke. When he landed to the house, Black Hat may have recognized him as the most genius scientist on Earth, so he hired him. BUT- he has to wear something to cover his face- Because he knows for a fact that he might get recognized by social media that Flug is still alive and landed in the island, and another reason… was his powers.
Of course, boom. He wears the Paperbag. But I think he invents himself his own goggles too before that.

Take a look again at the photo and look at the color of his mom’s hair… it’s brown… Yup. It’s canon the Flug has brown hair.
