"I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds' feet, and makes me walk on my high places." -Habakkuk 3:18, 19
God is always at work in our lives to bring good out of the darkest of situations. When the outlook looks grim, Jesus is your strength.. When the circumstances seem volatile, He himself is your stability. When the future appears bleak, He remains your hope. The strength of Christ is immeasurable-and it is yours to receive.
God upholds the weary and revives the fainthearted (Isaiah 40:29-31). Emotionally and physically drained ? God's supply of spiritual stamina never runs out ! Come to Him and His Word for the strength to carry on, and He will supply the power you need to traverse the rough terrain ahead...
'In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.' Romans 8:37
What does that mean? That means we can face anything the world has to throw at us. You’re a conqueror. Facing a bad week? You’re a conqueror. Hard times ahead? You’re a conqueror through Jesus Christ. No matter what may be thrown at you, you are a conqueror if your Lord and Saviour is Jesus Christ.
Just as a goldsmith heats the ore to remove the impurities, God uses the trials and afflictions of life to rid us of imperfections and impurities. When He finishes with us, we will be less like ourselves and more like His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This process is very painful, but it is very necessary if He is to be glorified in us.
Do you know the only difference between a piece of black coal and a priceless diamond is the amount of pressure it has endured? How you handle your adversities will make you or break you. He has a purpose for every trial. When you are in difficult times, know that this challenge was not sent to destroy you. It was sent to refine you and to strengthen you. He allows hard times in our lives to bring out the potential we didn’t even know we had.
Remember you are a diamond in the making!
Pain that brings you closer to God is always better than any comfort that keeps you away from Him. 🩰
Sometimes when I stop and think about how good God has been it makes me want to cry. 1 am not who I used to be. I don't think how I used to think. I have freedom I didn't know was possible.
He has brought me so far. And while life isn't perfect, His love has made all the difference.
If you're wondering if following God is worth it, I'm here to tell you it undoubtedly is.
Eat Drink Sleep with this in your heart ❤️
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight" (Luke 12:6).
Our Almighty God who keep all planets in their orbits is aware of a lowly sparrow that falls to the ground.
Are you anxious? Fretful? Fearful? If our Lord takes such tender care of every bird he ever created, would he not care much more for his children.
As for your value, Jesus died on the Cross to save you from your sin and from eternal separation from God. He died so he can make us his very own. That's how much He loves you and me. You can rest assured knowing God's caring eye is watching over you. You don't have to worry for a moment about your future or anything for that matter. Keep your eyes on that hill your creator is living.
“Those that would have communion with God must attend upon him, and approach to him, in those ordinances wherein he is pleased to manifest himself, and his power and glory, though it be in a bush; they must come to the treasure, though in an earthen vessel. Those that seek God diligently shall find him, and find him their bountiful rewarder.”
— Matthew Henry on Exodus
Psalm 90:12 NKJV So teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.
I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land, I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” Genesis 28:15
Notice, God says “I am with you…” He doesn’t say “I was with you” or “I will be with you,” but “I am with you.” Yahweh … the great “I am” is with you!
God not only says “I am with you,” but that, “I will watch over you.” Psalm 121:7-8 says: The LORD will keep you from all harm -- He will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.
He also says, “I will not leave you.” Imagine, the God of the Universe is in you and He accompanies you wherever you go.
So, even as you go through this new month, remember,
• The Lord is with you
• He will watch over you.
• He will never leave you.
• He will fulfill all that He has promised you.
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age…” (Titus 2:11-12)
Grace is God's unmerited kindness and favour that is poured out in liberal abundance on those Who put their faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. It's by God’s grace that we are forgiven not only that, it's by grace we are being transformed into His image. And therefore, we are encouraged to live and to grow in righteousness by His grace. Paul writes, ""Since God has manifested His grace to us, we are to commit to living a life of godliness. The same grace trains us and instructs us to deny ungodliness and worldly desires and to live sensibly and righteously in the present age.
May God transform us by His grace so that we live sensible, righteous, and godly lives in this fallen world seeking to give Jesus all the glory.
You don’t have to gaze long at the night sky to marvel at the wonder of God’s awe-inspiring handiwork. The massive stretch of galaxies and the cloudy mass of our own Milky Way remind us of the spectacular creation and the sustaining work of Jesus by whom it is all held together (Colossians 1:16-17).
God’s creation overflows with His continuous announcement that He is real, He is amazing and majestic, He is awesome and powerful and people know this. Romans 1:19-20: “For what can be known about God is plain to everyone, because God has shown it to them. For His invisible attributes, namely, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world.”
Prayer – Almighty Father, thank You that everywhere I look I see evidence of You. Everything I hear is proof You are real and amazing. Your creation shouts, “There’s a God, there’s a God!” Help me to see Your majesty and never cease to be in awe of You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
