Nayoung looked up and too the left as if she was thinking of what to say but really she was adding it for humorous effect, “Both are correct.” She laughed looking back over to the older girl. With a nod Zoey got up and put her dvd in the player instead of having to flip through and order it. “I can say it has good filming if anything.” She says as she plops back onto the couch and grabs the bowl of popcorn from the table.
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ Perhaps she laughed a bit harder than originally intended (in her defense, she never had much control over how loud she was speaking), but she hadn’t expected Zoey to fully agree with her so easily. Either way, it was always commendable when someone was able to admit the faults in something they enjoyed. “Their soundtrack was pretty good too, if I remember correctly. Paramore, Anya Marina, a few others. At least they had that going for them, right? Totally appealed to their teenage market.”

｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ “it’s warm in new zealand right now, right? they’re in the lower half of the globe and it’s winter here, so it would be summer there, right?” gippeum asked in english as she absently scrolled through her phone. intelligence hadn’t always been her strongsuit, and though luckily her her she’d been able to turn it into a variety gimmick of sorts over the years, there was still a blow to her pride when she had to ask a question that she just knew sounded silly. “i dunno why i’m asking-- seems like it would be nice to vacation there. yeah? i mean, it’s not like i’m getting a vacation any time soon, but it’s still nice to think about. if you had the chance to take a break and travel, where would you go?”

Gyuri looked at the cake “ Yeah I wasn’t quite sure but it looks like one “ she replied thinking that the other probably thought that she was very strange but she pushed those thoughts away. When the idol replied Gyuri realized that the suggestion sounded a bit weird as the dancer hadn’t taken a bite of the cake and she wasn’t even sure if the cake was carrot cake. The choreographer nodded “ that is probably a better idea “ she replied before she took a small bite. Yes, it was for sure a carrot cake and it tasted delicious; Gyuri was very happy with her choice of cake “ yep for sure carrot cake “ she then spoke after taking another bite.
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ Gippeum’s mind was still reeling at how someone could just buy something to eat with no full idea of exactly what it was. Perhaps it had to do with the fact that she hadn’t been able to eat as she pleased since she was a teenager, or child even-- the second she signed with j-soul, the next important thing next to her vocals was her appearance, and she spent (and continues to spend) well over half her life trying to combat the chubby cheeks and pockets of pudge that come natural to her. It was mentally draining, and though she knew that she’d be better off if she stuck to her diet, she couldn’t resist an offer for sweets. In her defense, she’d gone weeks without indulging in a single dessert, so she totally earned her taste. After getting Gyuri’s confirmation, Gippeum wiped off the spoon that she’d used to stir her coffee earlier and scooped off a piece of the cake to taste. “Omo, this is so good--” she whined, visibly defeated as she started to remember all that she’d been missing out on. “Yah, yah, hurry up and eat it so I don’t steal another bite!”

“that makes me wish i wasn’t so headstrong towards debuting as a soloist.” hana mused, mostly to herself but it was relevant to the conversation regardless. “past me was an idiot for seeing groups as inherently bad. maybe now i’d be eating burgers too instead of still watching my figure.” she pursed her lips for a few seconds, head titling slightly. “do you think being in a group influences them not caring? maybe because there’s more than one then it’s okay for the members to eat more?” it’d been a long time since hana was in a group of her own and subsequently any information she had connected to the experience had vanished, all but the negative experiences. she blinked, evidently surprised. “you accidentally broke their foot? that sounds like an ordeal in itself…”
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ “i was kind of the same as you, at first. but there was no telling when i would’ve been able to do that, when heart2heart was right there-- i’m just an opportunist, i guess. looking back, it was the best decision. it seems a lot easier to debut in a group and then debut solo. there’s the support from the group fans to get you going, plus whoever you pick up along the way.” gigi nodded as she spoke. of course, such methods led to mediocre artists that only floated by on popularity, but didn’t that go for literally anything in their field? “sort of? i’m not the visual, so there’s less concern on my appearances. it’s definitely still there, but i guess to put it into perspective, there’d be a bigger freakout towards soobin pigging out than me. but then scarlett’s really pretty, so i don’t think they’d be happy if she did it either.” maybe it could all be summarized by the fact that gigi tended to do what she wanted regardless of the consequences, but she chose not to say this out loud. yeah, she’s arrogant, but it wasn’t something that she wanted to flaunt around at every moment. “it was an accident, i swear! i was jumping around and they snuck up behind me. i landed on their foot instead of the floor.”

“I like it, yeah. One of my favourites actually.” She shrugged trying to make it seem like it was no big deal. Nayoung wasn’t usually one to get so attached to a series. She would normally watch something and then move on to the next thing whether it was music, movies or drama’s, but twilight and there twilight series was something she loved way more than she liked to admit. Vampires and humans falling in love with each other with werewolfs on the side wasn’t everyone favourite cup of tea she knew, but still after reading the books and watching all the movies she had to admit to herself that she in fact liked supernatural romance. Though her younger brother would always make fun of her for it, but she liked it too much to actually care what he was saying. “Mhm… You’re right.” Zoey says, “Though anything you’ve heard is probably right.” She chuckles lightly.
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ Gippeum wanted to judge, she really did, but there was a tiny voice in her head telling her to be a good, non-shady person for just one night. Based on the movie of choice, she was sure that Zoey heard plenty of judgment about it already and was probably sick to death of it. At the very least, she could reassure herself with the fact that she never paid much attention to movies anyway, so Twilight could only be but so damaging to her. “That it has a terrible storyline and awkward acting?” Gippeum mentioned, followed by a laugh. “It’s okay, we can still watch it. Sometimes movies are so bad that they’re good. I mean, it works for horror movies.”

“Thank you, sunbae. I think this is one of my favourites so far. The dances are really fun, especially Bing Bing.” Sora paused, she really missed eating well. She had to start dieting 6 weeks before the comeback and continued to wait for her food freedom. The Heaven member was a huge fan of Heart2Heart when she was young and admired Gippeum greatly. However, she was unsure on how to speak to her without sounding awkward. She was often afraid she’d embarrass herself in front of elders due to a cultural or language block. Sora did think in English and, even after six years, it took a second to remember where she was sometimes.
“Sorry, sunbae…” Was she really just staring that whole time? “I, uh, spaced out for a second. I’m pretty tired.”
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ “Which song do you prefer overall between the two singles? I’ve had Excuse Me on repeat for a few days now. The whole ‘cuse me ‘cuse me part really sticks in your head.” Gippeum wasn’t ashamed to admit that she’d been listening to the group almost excessively. Some would expect that she would be bitter to see younger groups promoting far more than her own did, but honestly, she was okay with that. She was getting older, her interests were starting to change, and it was only right of her to give the support to her hoobaes that she wished that she had in the past. Girl groups had it hard enough without being pitted against each other. “It’s fine,” she reassured Sora with a smile. So it seemed to just be a simple mess up in words, and nothing for her to press further on. “Do you have any more schedules for the day, or can you rest soon?”

Zoey glanced from the television back over Gippeum for what had to be the hundredth time. Picking a movie was a task Nayoung always let other do because if she did she would be trying to pick something for the next three or four hours so she though she was doing a good thing by letting the older girl take control over the remote. She thought surely they would be relaxing to a movie and eating junk food to their heart content, but it’s been nearly an hour and she decided then that her thinking it was a good idea to let Gippeum have the remote wasn’t as good as an idea that she thought it was. “Why don’t we just put on twilight?” She suggested. It was always Zoey’s go to movie when she couldn’t decided on something else and she figured this was a good time to offer it up. @ikgippeum
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ As shocking as it might have sounded, Gippeum didn’t like movies much. She was a person that always had to be in motion, that thrived off jumping from one task to the next, that enjoyed having the freedom to run her mouth as much or as little as she pleased. Watching a movie took all those options away from her, and even though it was a solid two hours of entertainment, it wasn’t always a sacrifice that she was willing to make. She could understand why other people enjoyed it though, which was often how she got herself looped into movie marathons in the small amount of time that she wasn’t filming or practicing. As long as the other person was steering the ship, she was fine-- but clearly not now, as she had the remote in her hands and was struggling to find anything that seemed slightly interesting to her yet favorable to Zoey as well. “You actually like that movie?” she asked, nose scrunching up at the younger woman. “I mean, I haven’t actually seen it before... Just heard things from friends about the series. I guess we can. I can’t talk anything about it until I’ve watched it, right?”

Gyuri wouldn’t even be surprised if the other didn’t know who she was. It was understandable, she was only a staff member at Crystal. “ Thanks “ Gyuri sat down and then looked at her cake “ Oh I think it’s carrot cake, not quite sure I haven’t tasted it yet and I picked at random “ she replied honestly as she looked at the other with a small smile. “ You can have a taste if you want ? “ she then added as the other had mentioned that she didn’t often eat sweets
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ With how quick the other was to sit with her, Gigi had to wonder if she already knew the woman. If she did, the name or face wasn’t matching up in her head, and she was too embarrassed to ask and find out if that was the case or not. So far she didn’t seem to be a fan or anyone untrustworthy, so she’d take the company for the time being without being overly skeptical about her intentions. “You think it’s carrot cake?” Gigi couldn’t help but laugh in response. She didn’t consider herself to be a picky eater, but she was never the type to just pick something up and have no idea what she was about to eat. “Uh-- how about you try it first and let me know how it is. If it’s good, then I’ll steal a bite.”

&&. to say she was glad to help someone she actually fond of was the least - being able to help and actually have some time to speak with gigi was already making her day a lot better. eunbi knows the crystal building really well, which is not a surpise since it is some kind of second home to the idol, practice rooms, hidden rooms, bathrooms and many other things, without really thinking eunbi could get to those in a matter of minutes. ‘’a little bit’’, a giggle escapes her mouth as her mind rewins to the moment gigi walked in, looking more lost than ever. ‘’oh, believe me it wasn’t easy in the beginning’’ - when the girl was a mere trainee in 2012, walking and finding rooms was more hard than anything you could think of. ‘’i would get into the wrong rooms when i was a trainee, it took me a few years to actually know half of these rooms… room 526E you say? if i’m not wrong it’s at the end of the hallway, it won’t take you long but i feel like leaving you alone it’s quite bad so mind me making you company?’’, she rambles and rambles and doesn’t realize that they could already been in the room at this point if it wasn’t for her huge, boring speech.
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ though her pride would have preferred that she found the room on her own, gigi knew that just wasn’t happening any time soon, so she was grateful for the younger woman’s help. besides, it didn’t seem like such a blow to her pride as she basked in the admiration from her hoobae. one would imagine that dealing with the starstruck teens and young adults would lose its touch after a while, but not for gigi, who basically thrived off anything that fueled her ego. “i don’t feel the building is much bigger than j-soul’s... you guys label your halls differently. but i guess the learning curve comes no matter what when you’re new,” she reasoned, moving to tuck her phone into her back pocket now that she didn’t need to text some melodramatic excuse for her potential tardiness. “i don’t mind at all, sweetheart!” she paused after her answer, growing visibly excited once the realization hit her. “wait! you’re in sweetheart! that group, yeah?”

“Ah…Maybe, sunbae.” Should she say something about how Gigi’s figure was so perfect that she was surprised the elder could eat so much? Should be compliment her fast metabolism? No, that was a little weird. Before she knew it, the Heart2Heart leader was waving a french fry under her nose. Sora didn’t even realize she’d been following it with her head.
“Umm. No, I shouldn’t. I’m promoting right now. I think I’d get in trouble…” Sora averted her eyes from the fry. Probably one of the shittiest things about being an idol for her was not getting to eat anywhere near the way she wanted to.
｡･:*:･ﾟ☆ Truthfully, Gigi wasn’t sure what to think of the Heaven member. She couldn’t tell if the stunted, awkward responses she was receiving were out of disinterest or embarrassment, but what she did know was that she was already tired of poking and prodding this attempted conversation along when Sora was the one that initiated it with her comments. “Smart girl,” she responded, clicking her tongue briefly before eating the fry herself. Part of her would have expected the younger female to give into the temptation-- from her own past experiences she was guilty of sneaking a bite or two of good food when the opportunity presented itself, but maybe that was more reflective of her own headstrong nature rather than the obedience of idols younger than her. “Good luck out there, by the way. You guys are doing pretty good so far.”
