Hello and it is apparently tech problems month! As you may or may not know, this site is hosted on a VPS and not a dedicated server. This means that while we, generally speaking, have our own space, it is not impossible for other websites on the same hardware to impact us. This has never caused issues before, but apparently this evening, the actual server we're housed on is experiencing extremely high loads (and it's not from us). I have been told that our VPS is currently off because the tech team on my host is currently working to move us to a less busy server. They don't currently have an ETA for how long that will take. The site should come back when they've finished doing whatever they're doing.
We are back up! Hopefully that should resolve it, but they'll be monitoring for the next hour or so.

The good news is that all cats that were added to the game in that time were successfully restored earlier today, along with all relationship gains!
The bad news is that because of the current size of the site's database, it is going to take a long time for the restoration to finish processing. (It's been hours and it's at like 50%.)
You will of course receive a treat of some kind for your collective harrowing torments. I don't know what yet, but there will be something...
Back now! And the server is sooooo much faster now that it's not actively dying.
