Also Tony installing a proper scanner which doesn't ring any alarms if Barton is in the vents but instead just makes in a video compilation of each time he falls.

Also Tony bulge buying Pop tarts for every time Thor visits.

Tony: Cap how do you not kn- No being frozen for 80 years is no excuse. This is vital part of history, No I don't care that it's "just a show" this changed lives

Also Tony installing a "Cap is confused again" Protocol on FRIDAY for each time there's anything Steve doesn't understand which might be basic knowledge to everyone else so FRIDAY can give him a summary of it all.

Tony: Nat you need to stop hiding weapons everywhere. I can't be going around finding machetes in the compound!

Also Tony providing her as much space she needs for her weapons in each room if that's what she needs to feel safe.

Tony: No! No magic. Wanda you go through my head again and I swear you'll regret it. My therapist quit, you think you can handle it? Nuh uh this is a magic free household young lady.

Also Tony installing a whole new simulation based training room so she can practice her magic properly.

Tony: Bucky, I know I'm rich but can you please stop crushing my equipment and cups

Also Tony very gently talking to Bucky about everything he is doing step by step as he checks up Bucky's arm. Giving him his own room with open windows so he doesn't feel trapped with every bit of little hobby he might pick up from knitting to painting to playing the piano. A bookshelf with the entire limited edition of The Hobbit and every 40s music he might like. And some more recent songs in case he decides to "stop being old".

Tony: Strange I need you to stop doing that shit. I understand you're a wizard but don't they have rules for that? Like no magic outside of Hogwarts until you're 17? None of that weird stuff in the tower... ever.

Also Tony creating a special meditating room for Stephen with Pink Floyd playing where he can just calm down for a while in the tower and somehow a room in the mirror dimension when he really wants peace and quiet.

Tony: Vision I know you're an AI who is very interested in human nature and I am flattered but I swear if I hear one more explosion because you tried to learn knitting or the piano I will find an off switch whether or not you have one.

Also Tony making every single hobby Vision wants to pick up possible in the best way. Providing him his own kitchen to getting him a piano teacher because he wanted to experience "learning by being taught"

Tony: Banner I get that you have everything under control which is great but my lab is not big enough for The Hulk

Also Tony making his lab big enough. Getting him his own lab. Making sure he had everything he needed to calm down when he couldn't control the Hulk. Labeling him as the "strongest avenger". Getting him a therapist. Making sure he never feels alone yet always has peace

Tony: Rhodey you need to understand that when I say I'm fine I'm fine. You act like such a party pooper you know that?

Also Tony who trusts Rhodey with his life and everything. Making sure Rhodey never feels lesser than. Who couldn't be more grateful that Rhodey stuck by him throughout everything and always stayed. Tony always turning to him for advice and no matter how much he acts like Rhodey is being a bummer always takes his words to heart.

Tony: Peter.... Don't walk on the ceiling! Oh my God don't die! What the hell kid please don't explode your homework again! Your aunt is going to KILL me! You mess with the suit again and I- No , you can't borrow my suit what do you mean? I told you to stay back, tell me what you interpreted that as? No the adults are talking.

Also Tony doing everything that kid wants no matter what. Making sure his suit is so safe that he might as well be immortal. Buying him everything he even remotely suggests to liking. He has his own room in the tower cause of all the time he spends in the labs.

"You want to test out this new thing with your webs but it requires this extremely expensive and toxic chemical? As long as you wear proper protection!"

"you said you had to write about a famous place you went to but since you haven't travelled much you were gonna write about the Stark exhibition or times square.....So I got you these world tour tickets. I think they hit every landmark , just message me the ones they don't and I'll handle it. And don't worry there are two so your aunt can go with you"

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Cuteness overload

Peter had braces.

Or, he used too when he was in his early teens (12-15s), the pictures are cute and awkward, curly haired peter parker smiling with a face full of braces, freckles here and there and a few acne.

Tony gets his hands on these pictures.

He frames them like a dad, he has one in the lab, one in the office and one in an extra room.

(Peter walks in to the lab and spots the photo, he goes red.)

Pepper has a photo too and in good motherly style, she’s done and gone framed it in her office so it’s the first thing people sees when they walk in.

(Peter goes : “Not you too!” when he walks in and sees it.)

When people ask.

The two say in unison.

“Oh that’s our son, he was so cute.”

Tony then proceeds to bombard said person with pictures of Peter all grown up now, he’s still in his teens, albeit entering the stage of adulthood.

Some photos are taken of Peter when he’s fallen asleep in the lab, others are him with the brightest grin ever.

Sure Peter is all grown up, his hair isn’t as Curly anymore and he’s not got as many freckles maybe he even has a few scars, he’s lanky and growing into his height, but Tony waves them off with the.

“He’s still my baby.”

As if he had birthed and raised Peter himself.

When the Avengers finally meet Peter, they assume he’s Tony’s biological son, with the stash of photos around and the way Tony can ramble for hours about Peter if you’ll let him.

Pepper is no better, she’s a mother bear.

So it’s the only logical conclusion right?

Then clint has to run his mouth and ask: “Hey, where are the baby photos?”

Tony tweaks. (Because he doesn’t have them.) He’s rushing to call may.

Avengers: huh, strange. anyway-

Natasha somehow gets her hands on peter’s baby photos because who else besides Natasha would figure out Peter isn’t actually Tony’s and is Spiderman? She would, she just wouldn’t tell the others.

Before Tony can get his hands on them.

May wasn’t that hard to convince either (A glass of wine, a few compliments and she was cooing about Peter before he grew up.)

Peter was a really chubby baby, turns out, (he thins out as he gets older) wearing captain america pajamas and somehow gotten into the flour.

The team watch in chaos as when Tony finds out Natasha has these

It becomes utter war.

They don’t know why the sudden two are leaping over couches chasing one another, or suddenly asking to ‘hand it over.’ But they can only presume it’s something super important and confidential.

It’s not.

(Watch Pepper jump in as well, telling Natasha she has every right to see these photos, Natasha relents to Pepper but not to Tony who’s still out the loop and growing more frustrated.)

Peter meanwhile is on the sideline’s mortified yelling at everybody.

May in the meantime has actually gotten use to Natasha’s company and started to like the assassin.

Tony: “This is my son, i’m very proud of my son.”

The avengers watching as Peter lifts a bridge about 5,000 lbs or 18,000.

Pepper: “This is my baby, i won’t let anyone ever hurt him.”

Avengers: Uhm???

As Peter climbs the scaffolding to a new skyscraper with his bare hands.

Natasha: “but if anything happened to him, i’d kill everyone in this room and then myself.”

Avengers: ???

Peter who, most definitely did not just stop Bucky’s metal, Vibranium arm with his own hand AND THEN PROCEED TO TWIST IT??

May: “Oh and this is peter when he was-“

Avengers finally understanding the ‘Peter charm’ after seeing the photos and having a moment with Peter. : “Ah”

Needless to say, Peter is still mortified, Tony is still fighting custody for those baby photos and Natasha is cackling at the chaos.

(May and pepper: “Girls night when?”)

So what happens to Tony’s lab in the end? When he finally gets his hands on May’s ‘Baby pete’ album, he copies, prints and frames each photo in that book in every room he has.

Peter avoids the tower for two weeks to come and MJ is just laughing at his misery.

(it’s sad that when Tony believes Peter is dead, he removes and boxes most of these photos except a particular one in his office.)

He doesn’t get to see Happy’s face upon seeing the photo and struggling to remember the curly haired boy who Tony loved so much.

Only placing Tony’s helmet over the photo because it gives him a headache and he can’t look at the kids face any longer.

Tony doesn’t get to see the boxes of photos decay and rot where he hid them, Peters face truly forgotten to the world.

Happy: “Hey when was this?”

Gesturing to the photo, Tony’s arm wrapped around Peter, who was smiling so brightly.

Pepper: “I’m, not sure..?”

Needless to say Happy keeps it only because it’s got Tony in it and Tony seems to be genuinely happy in the photo but he takes to covering one side of the photo at all times.

Not staring at it longer than he has too.

He also remembers: every gruesome detail of WW2. What it felt like to be frozen alive. The faces of all the men he served with. Watching the life slip out of Abraham Erskine as he held him. Remembers, with HD clarity, the blinding lights and loud noises of waking up in the future, lost and alone. I absolutely love this appeared on my dash. Steve is one of the most respected people in the Marvel universe and I need everyone to understand how far that goes.

Steve’s own enemies respect him.

Steve Rogers is one of the only non-mutants that Magento respects and listens to. Magneto once gained a helmet that could eradicate any anti-mutant feelings someone had. He used it on Steve, who said he still felt the same as before, proving he never had any hatred towards mutants. Magento was so shocked and shamed by this discovery he threw the helmet to the ground, surrendered himself to the Avengers and declared humans and mutants should find a way to peacefully co-exist.

Georges Batroc, a thieving mercenary with morals and iconic Captain America nemesis, has saved Steve’s life multiple times, refused to let him be tortured, and switched sides for him more than once because he trusts in Steve’s judgement and respects him too much to let him die or be tortured (Batroc has also expressed romantic feelings towards Steve but that’s a story for another time).

Dr. Victor von Doom (aka Doctor Doom) has granted Steve access to Latveria (Doom’s country) and allowed him to use anything he needed (the world was at stake and Doom isn’t stupid). Steve has also reached out to him when Doom seemed hurt, even when everyone else told him not to.

In a more recent comic issue, Steve even opened up to Doom about his “shell-shock”, then mournfully added Doom must see that as a weakness. However, Doom answered, “I have more respect for you than you imagine, Captain.”

Then there is Namor, the Sub-Mariner. He’s half Atlantean, half human, and he has a complicated relationship with humans since they threaten his home world (the ocean). He’s declared war and whatnot a couple times, though that didn’t really go anywhere. However, he has a steady respect for and friendship with Steve. He’s rescued him multiple times, worked with him, and once suggested they’d have a threesome.

Even the Red Skull himself has a kind of twisted respect for Steve Rogers. He was buried alive by Magneto and started to hallucinate people from his past telling him to die. Steve appeared last, but told Red Skull he should live and be brought to justice instead of dying, and Red Skull cursed him for “being more good than I am evil”

And there’s more. Friends and enemies alike, nearly everyone has a deep-rooted respect for Steve in one way or another. He inspires that in people, he brings out the best in them no matter where they’re from.

Especially to “lower level” villains such as Batroc, Diamondback and Rhino, he’s had really positive impacts simply by being truthful, respectful and giving them a chance.

Steve Rogers is just that good.
