iKON’s first album was good listening even without having to watch their live performances. Their debut wasn’t like the emergence of never-before-seen kids, but rather that of a group who really had skills and talents. iKON didn’t use a fancy name for their debut album, they didn’t use the name of one of their title songs like rhythm ta or airplane. No, they just named it ‘Welcome Back’. They named it after that one song from the album that was written for no others but iKONICs. They named it after the song in which they welcome back and thank their fans who have waited for them since win. The fact that iKON thinks so much about iKONICs to the point that they even name their debut album after smth that connects them with us, with iKONICs, is probably one of the purest and most beautiful things an artist can do. The song starts with the words ‘Welcome back’ and ends with them. 

“Baby oh! Welcoming you back here.”

“Welcome back, I’m glad you returned.”

“Welcome back, I really missed you.”

“What I want to say is thanks for coming back.”

“Please don’t leave me. Let’s take it slow, let’s last real long. Welcome Back”
