I’m slowly going to move all my sonic stuff here. I used to be more active on twt but with all it’s ai editing stuff, constant flood of negativity i can’t be there anymore.

I’ll also give bsky a chance! My acc there has the same name as this one.

This will be my little corner where i can post my silly fanart and thoughts from now on, without having to worry much about looking “professional”

Vigil is a detective/investigative journalist that got involved in the case of the disappearance of the owner of the Coffee Shop he enjoys going to regularly. Being someone that dislikes breaking habits, he’s committed to the task. Meeting some crimin— partners along the way to uncover the mystery behind the case. Only to find out that more of these kidnappings have been happening for quite some time in the city. Alongside with really strange and weird nightmares.

How is it so far working as a character designer? I plan to be one, & would like to hear the experience of being one from someone, if you have any.

My experience so far has been great, i've learned a lot from my coworkers and peers in general that work in the industry. I had my handful of bad situations, mostly with the uprising of ai, i was "forced" to leave two of my long time positions.

If you're lucky you will have good clients that know what they want from the get go and you'll only just have to create moodboards, the first design concepts and the final version of all that with some feedback here and there.

On the other hand sometimes...... if the client doesn't know what they want, you'll have to guess and iterate a lot. So that's why i also recommend being good at communicating and keep in touch regularly with them. Being assertive is such an important skill i feel people don't talk about enough.
