The blond accompanied the other male, quite contentedly. His red-head right hand man would usually refuse or be on constant watch with him, so such an acceptance was a good sign.

" Good! I’ll pay for us then! Let's drink tons!"

     Oh god, oh god, oh god. Why was this person? They certainly weren’t dressed in traditional attire, and he was far too strange looking to be from this empire. What did he want? Did he want to hurt her? She yelped in surprise, quickly placing herself in the closest corner, a rather impractical hiding place.

     She actually brought her attention to him.. or, at least she did partially. Still, at the offer she relaxed a bit, but gave the treat a strange glance. She hadn’t seen such a thing before, after all. Such food wasn’t exactly served in the palace. It was considered informal to eat anything considered unhealthy, and they were restricted to Kou’s delicacies. “U-Um.. what is it?” she asked him a bit shamefully. 

The man chuckled. So, she didn't know about it? oh . Anyway better late than neverm right? she was pretty young also.

"This is cotton candy. It's really sweet and whenever I'm down I also eat it. Tons of little ones like you eat it as well." he said while gesturing with a hand to one of the bypassing kids, holding happily one of the cotton candy in a stick, eating it contentedely.

He hold out one of his sticks with the colored candy to her, waiting for the reply.

" Would you like to try it as well?"

"…Just water." The red-head responded back.  He certainly was not going to drink while the other drank some random alcoholic drink.  He’d rather remain sober or something, just to avoid trouble that could follow the two back.  "…Do I need to question why the bartender knows what you like?”

A little shiver ran down the young man's spine, as his friend asked that. Good, good one Giotto. Now, how to explain that?

He quickly thought of something to use as and excuse, so G wouldn't go on questioning him further.

! " That's because we talk about beverages and food lots of times, and he already knows what I like! Yes!" he said, while gesturing to the bartender to go along with that excuse discretly.

The scarlet haired woman hadn’t expected the words that he spoke. She expected to be scolded, which probably would have just further added to her bad mood. She expected to be looked at with contempt, which would have made her want to punch him in the face. She expected directions and to leave, which would have probably been the best situation out of the three.

She blinked, staring at him in shock. Stunned into silence, she couldn’t even try to think about forming words to reject his offer, but her stomach grumbled in protest before she could even try to get the words out. She groaned quietly, wanting to punch her defiant stomach for protesting, but the promise of food made her not even want to argue.

She went quiet as she continued to stand there in the same spot, feeling a bit guilty of how she initially reacted. She only looked up only when he started speaking to her again.

"Magnolia.." She replied. "And my name’s Erza.."

It seemed the scarlet haired had calmed down, and was feeling kinda embarrassed or guilty(?), as she averted eye contact for a while, probably judging he would be an ass, but repenting such thought when he greeted her so welcomingly. Giotto wasn't the type to refuse to help, even if to strangers. And this was yet another one of those cases...

Mafia was mafia, and he knew it ....hadn't he experienced such in the past? seeing some of his comrades die in his front? of course, and that was way he got even more cautious...yet, he stood open to anyone who wanted or needed support. They couldn't blame him for unfairness....

The blond let out a mute chuckle, offering a hand to greet the other.

" Giotto, nice to meet you, Erza. That's a pretty name.... 

" So, Magnolia?...I would say you're pretty far away from there. You're currently in Italy...inside one of the mafia's families mansion...."
