i love zanka nijiku so much like yes... hes so attractive LOL but i really love characters that resonate with me on a genuine level where their writing pushes me to be better
like readings zankas arc literally changed me and my philosophy; even though zanka isnt a prodigy and failed, he still kept going with the simple phrase " i just have to get stronger and the problem goes away" and that really spoke to me. like not even kidding, even though zanka failed MISERABLY against jabber, i still loved him so much and that despite the flaws i realized its failures like this that make a character-- a person-- so genuine and authentic. zankas self awareness and dedication to move forward despite what he went through-- and not blaming anyone around him for his shortcomings-- pushes me to be the best version of myself everyday with my art. i especially love how much i loved him because i saw myself and i was like, hell yea!!! this is me and i am him!!

i know its so silly since theyre just fictional characters but i think its also special that writing, especially comics like this, make me love myself more and recognize my passion.
idk i love characters and what they stand for, especially hero like characters, because theyre written for people in mind who look up to them.
